Stepping Stone 3- God's Grace

Postby krystal » Thu Jun 23, 2011 8:57 am

I have always had a probably with forgiving myself.
I felt like i was worthless.
And as far as repenting of my sins and not doing them again...
that is so hard for me!
Sometimes I do not know if what i am doing is wrong
so i get scared and feel terrible anyways.
Those things i am unsure about are not dishonoring God,
but i don't think they are honoring him either.
I know i'm speaking very broadly, i am just trying to not spill out things too personal to me.
But I am speaking about my relationship with my boyfriend of 3 years.
We are both virgins and plan to stay that way until marriage, but what we do is out of passion and love.
Is it wrong?
I do not think so but i am so scared that i am just foolish or stupid.
I know the Bible says we shouldn't be lustful, but thats IMPOSSIBLE! *laughter*
Am i blindly going against God when i am with my boyfriend?
We are planning to get engaged in the next 1-2 years so that we can get married after we graduate from college.
We are very responsible, and we are remaining abstinent for each other until marriage.
We have a place for God in our relationship also, but i just have never really known what the rules are about dating.
am i making sense or just babbling?
God bless.

Krystal waiting until marriage is a beautiful thing. May I ask why you are waiting to get married?
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

((((((Krystal))))) I wondered the same as Pine ... if you know you want to marry; that you plan to, why are you waiting? wouldn't that remove a lot of the guilt and concern you are feeling now *hug*
