My sister you are now in the best of places. You know when you are hungry for more Jesus and more that you can do to serve Him...then you are truly walking the walk He wants you to walk. This is where I am in my calling as well sis. I can't get enough of reading the Bible, listening to Christian music, spending time talking with Him and in prayer. It's like I always want to grow...it's a great place to be. Life is full of His presence.
So sis? God's asking you to be patient and wait upon Him. This isn't a bad thing at all. In fact it's giving you time to fill your cup fuller with His presence. He'll let you know when it's time.
luv ya

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

I know what's happening. You are opening their eyes so that God can get out of the box they have put Him in.
Isaiah 29:13
These people come near me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.
That is something that can't be rushed so "just sit back and wait". Don't expect that something bad is going to happen even though that is what you are used to. The next part of Isaiah 29 is
Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.
Now you are learning patience.
If I may suggest a book. Qualities Of A Spiritual Warrior by Graham Cooke. It is the first book in a series of three called The Way Of The Warrior. So far I have only read the first book but kept saying "Oh, that's why God has me doing that"
oooo, I am so excited for you!!!

Hello Josinella
God bless you this day.
I can relate to what you are saying. Doing for Him feels awesome, and it is so invigorating. I like when He gives me an assignment. It keeps my mind focused. But I have found that He also has me seek Him in other ways too -- especially when things seemingly become quiet, or maybe even those times when life blindsides me with an unexpected Whammmmmmmm!!!
I try to imagine myself walking with Him before His death and resurrection, and see myself in the various situations that He and His disciples experienced together, and wonder how I would have reacted and/or responded. Might I have mirrored Martha more than Mary? Might I have severed ears by the dozen as compared to Peter's one. Might I have been like those who debated with Pharisees instead of keeping my mind focused on healing the sick and casting out demons, requiring Him to come along behind me and complete the task? (Mark 9:14-29). If I had been chosen to accompany Jesus to the garden that evening while He prayed, would I have fallen asleep? If I had been one of those chosen to go get the donkey and the colt, would I have considered it beneath me or would I have been jealous of those who didn't have to leave the company of Jesus?
What about Old Testament examples? Jonah was ticked that the people repented. Hard to believe on one hand, but yet I know a time or two I've advised others and they ignored me, so I prayed for them -- but when they finally repented and they received revelation from Him, I thought to myself "Duh, what do you think Ive been telling you?" Eeeeuuuuuuwwwwww!!! GROSS!!! How quickly the flesh rises it's ugly head.
I'm reminded of the young man that came to Jesus and asked 'what must I do to have eternal life?' When Jesus answered him, he stated that he had done all those things and had done them since his youth. Jesus knew differently, but He loved him anyway. Jesus then told him to sell everything, give the money to the poor and follow Him. Sadly, the guy walked away. Sadly, he didn't understand that it wasn't about what he did, but it was about Who Jesus is and what He does.
Paul tells us something so very interesting Chapters 1 and 2 of Galatians about his walk with Christ. The time line of Paul's walk is what blows me away. I'm just gonna focus on a couple scriptures.
Galatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, (16) To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
Galatians 1:17-19 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. (18) Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. (19) But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
and check this out...
Galatians 2:1 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
Now, I do believe we are on the cusp of the End Times, and His Word does tell us (Joel 2:28-30 and Acts 2:16-18) that He will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh and with that we'll see an increase in His power working in the earth. We are coming down to the wire, so there is an urgency; however, we should not be remiss in spending precious alone time with Him.
I'm so thankful to have Christianity Oasis, to meet and connect with other brothers and sisters in Christ, to get an extra boost and encouragement, to continue in learning more and more about Him and how He manifests Himself in His children and the world around us, and to share in the blessed revelations and blessings that He bestows on us.
You continue in my prayers, Josinella. It is such a pleasure to get to know you in Him, and Him in you.
God bless and keep you.
Love,
Mack
