I am having trouble hearing what God wants me to do. Through all my issues i have had and trying to see if its what God wanted. I figured if things worked out it was God putting me on the path. There were jobs i wanted and didnt get. Then about 3 weeks later I got a call from a school looking for a teacher. I got the job. I love the job and kids. The same thing goes with school. I am living my life right now for me and my daughter. We have been so busy with everything goign on. I really do want God to point out the direction that I need to go with my ex husband. I continue to pray and talk to God to lead me whichever direction I am to go. Is there anything else I can do to hear God talk to me?

Hello sister ang *hug*

Blessed mornin to u :)

It is wonderful to see you seeking God's will in your life sis :)

Id have to say one of the most important things we need to do when seeking to hear God's direction, is not allow our fears, and doubts and worries to drown out His voice. Sometimes we become so focused on those, that we cant hear what God is trying to say to us.

Try to find your quiet time with God, where you can really listen and not be distracted by other things, cuz sometimes we can really get so busy that we find it difficult to really listen.

And also, our own desires have to put on the back burner, so that we can receive freely what God has to give us, whether its what we want or not.

You are def on the right track, keep praying and seeking and God will speak to your heart and bring you peace as to choices He wants you to make :)

My sheep know my voice...

When I became a baby Christian, I thought everyone could hear God the same. Then I started doubting that what I was hearing was from God and would go to others to have them tell me what they heard. God didn't like that, He wanted me to talk to Him, know Him, hear His voice.

So at a conference, He had a Prophet look me in the eye and turn away. But He also sent me a man, Norman Audi, who helped me to hear. To block out the enemy and my own imagination by binding them in Jesus's name. To ask forgiveness for any sins and then test the spirit to see if it agreed that Jesus Christ is my Savior and died for me. Then he would give me questions to ask the Lord. I turned to ask Norman a question that I wanted to ask God and God gave me the answer before it came out of my mouth.
WOW! It was amazing.

I know God sent me this man just to talk to me because I was waiting on the coffee line and didn't want coffee.
Norman was on his way to the men's room when God told him to get on line.
And God knew that if the Prophet had told me to trust what God was saying, I still would have had doubt. He knew that the only way to get me to believe was to have the Prophet turn away. When that happened, I smiled and said, "I've got it now Lord. Thank you"

Norman wrote a book called He Who Has An Ear. It made it so easy to hear God that I've bought and either sold or gave away more then two dozen of these books.

And it will be different to everyone.
I had a friend that I gave this book to and she would only be able to ask simple yes and no questions in the beginning. For yes, she would feel all warm and fuzzy, no, she would hear nothing. Now she sees answers in short visions, never realizing that God could use our imaginations (hum, we bound those before praying so it was God)

I no longer bind the enemy or my imagination in Jesus's name. I reached a point where God told me to stop. I know what His voice sounds like to me. Like my conscience... and in my own way of talking. I will only do it if there is something important that I know I don't trust myself wanting a certain answer or feel the enemy influence.

Boy, I seem to have written my own book here but our Testimonies are to help others.
Oh, it also helps to try talking to Him in a quiet time, without distractions.
I usually play Worship music, seems to help.

Patience. :)

He is working in your life. He's working in your ex husbands life.
I am not sure if he'll bring you two back together.
But I am sure, he wishes to bless you abundantly.
Continue to pray for his will over your life.
I will continue to pray for you as well.

*hug* love ya

Sis hearing God often means listening to the answers. Sometimes the answers He gives are not the ones we want. The direction that brings you peace is God's direction. So if you are hearing all sorts of answers, only the peace-giving answers are going to be God's answers. The ones that bring confusion...well they are not.

Praying for you sis.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Right now . . . you're at the computer . . . quiet?

So . . . right now, you can be quiet with God and see how He shares with you ;) Trust Him to have you how He wants you with Him.

And we help one another. You are not on your own.

"casting all you care upon Him,

for He cares for you."
(1 Peter 5:7)

Cast on Him how you need to be able to do what He wants. It takes time to grow as a child to understand what one's parents are saying.
