pw, I see the Spirit of the Lord moving in your shared words. Your asking the Lord to bring you patience with others and a heart to understand them...all qualities of Jesus. So really work on following Jesus' actions and you will be growing and moving forward before you know it. I know you still have a ways to go, but at least your head is up now, and your looking forward. Keep at it.

luv ya

Step 5

This step was very interesting I must admit that the phrase "Hit the nail on the head" came to mind. When it started talking about pride and guilt and blame and the effects. The farther I read the more it all hit home to me. The Holy Spirit was pointing out different things in my past that those feelings had taken place in my life. So those weeds are have been pointed out to me and now I must do the aching job of pulling them. However this step isn't over cause I have made a list of things to read that was in the chart on step 5. So before I move on to 6 i will read those studies on my list.

I simply ask that those that read my blogs please be praying that the Holy Spirit will continue to work with my spirit and point out weeds that need to be pulled.

well I just completed the Anger Management study

I am determined to give Pride a beating before this is all over, I must say that I feel stronger now that I have read this cause I feel like the Holy Spirit has given me a tool to help me in my journey plus it will help me throughout my walk with God. I never knew there were so many scriptures on anger and hate and the effects of holding it all in.

I strongly recommend every christian to read the study on anger management, it does the heart and soul good

Aww yes it does.
Many of those studies have that effect.
That's why I like them so much.

That anger can be a nasty thing. And add pride to it and it's dangerous to relationships. I know this to well. I've dealt with my own. When we get stressed, over worked, ill, or tired, anger can flair easier. We need to make sure we take time for ourselves and don't get stretched to far in so many directions and the tending to so many others needs that we over look our own. We end up empty and unable to cope and begin to see the anger flairing easier.

Make sure you are refueling. Daily, if not a few times daily. And give that pride a good lickin. ;)

God bless you and keep you and yours on this journey to spiritual wellness. Luv ya bro

pw hello my friend,

First I want to start with the blame game we all play when we feel guilty about something we have done. We blame ourselves for not doing better, and we feel guilty for what we did, and we just make one big mess out of our emotions and then we are one big mess totally. This is why we must not give in and let blame and guilt get to us. As I said in my first blog, everytime we let guilt overtake us again, then we aren't allowing the Blood of Christ to cleanse us. He says put it down at His feet and leave it.

Now, let's talk about anger and pride....big stuff here. I was angry a couple of nights ago, and hurt as well. But then I realized that I was allowing someone to continue to play me like a guitar, because I was remaining angry and hurt. As soon as I put down the anger and hurt and began to forgive...then they were no longer playing me. But of course Pride at the beginning was bigger, and I felt I had a right to be angry...but in reality it's not my right at all...because God never gave me that right...in fact He said give my hurt and anger over to Him, and let Him handle it and not me. So pw...hope you can work on doing this as well.

luv ya

Step 6

wow looks like I have made some head way in my garden and now I must feed the good plants so they can produce fruits for my lord and king. I must admit I am feeling better as each day goes by, I have learned that I must stay in constant contact with HIM!

Before I start the miracle grow project I am gonna give it some serious thought so that I can obtain some achievable goals.

keep the prayers going up
I am so thankful for all of your prayers and words of encouragement

"swift to hear
. . . slow to speak,
. . . . . . . slow to wrath"
. . . . .(in James 1:19)

So, there's how we need to not be getting angry,
but also . . . how we need to be *instead*
and busy with what is better >

the growing of the flowers, as you may be saying . . .

and the food that grows.

Outside, here, it is raining, and there is the nice noise of the rain coming down generously,
and the fresh smell of the rain and the are > *air* :) LOL I can't believe I spelled it like that >
the air refreshing. We can rest and enjoy this provision of God >
God "gives us all things to enjoy," we have in 1 Timothy 6:17.

But there are people out there . . . driving their cars, wheeling and dealing, until ones of them crash because they don't know what to do in God's blessing of rain. And those crashes are like when we get angry . . . because we have been wheeling and dealing, instead of resting in the LORD.

And those crashes of our anger can have us so involved with whatever we are crashing in anger about, instead of our attention being to You, LORD, and all You are doing and sharing. Thank You; please bless Prayerwarrior and his family how You are able > You can straighten us out better than we can understand how to straighten ourselves out, and better than we can hope to straighten out others (o: So, I am humbled about this, and trust him and his family to You . . . please (o: in the name of Jesus (o:

Pw that is awesome, your moving forward, taking the steps on the pathway of God...He is proud of you pw...He wants you to continue forward, with your head up...if you hit a rough patch along the way, just keep your head up and your eyes on Him, and you may stumble, but you won't fall.

As for the charts pw, start with just a few, that won't bog you down too much. I know you are busy caring for many, so...add things that will be simple to achieve. You can always add more things later as you need to. But if you make the goals too hard you will become discourage. So simple it is.

I continue to pray for you pw.

luv ya

step 7

I remember this step from before but I had forgotten the impact that memories have on you. Because you obtain memories from everything coming and going. The truly amazing thing is that it doesn't take much to call on a memory that you have had stored for a long time, one of those that you had really forgotten you had. The awesome part is the effect that they have on you.

Now I have a cool tool to use to rid my mind of the things I don't want. That tool being Jesus, cause working with the Holy Spirit I can discern what is good and what is bad. I will have to rely on the Holy Spirit and believe me he will let me know if its good or bad.

So until my next step I will be doing some spring cleaning of the mind. Look out Pride, selfishness, haughtiness, guilt, blame, evil speakings things that are not of God.....The Holy Ghost and I will be gunning for ya

Yes P.W. self-control and speaking the truth to the past memories and the whispers of the enemy.

Keep moving forward. You're half way through and look at the awesome progress you and the Good Lord has done already! Much more good stuff ahead.

God bless. You make me *angelbounce*

love you and yours
