Sounds like you're getting it now Red.
It took me a longggg time to figure out that satan likes to replay the "old" days in our minds and bring up what I call "triggers" like you said work was.
Whenever I was trying to overcome a sin or obstacle in my life that stupid enemy would send little "triggers" at me and make me sad or depressed (cuz at the time I was trying to get over a wrong relationship). Well...I had no clue what was going on and I thought it was me and I suffered tremendously with guilt and sadness.
But you are definately on the right track. Keep pressing on and don't listen to that old devil...he's a liar!

Also, Red, you mentioned you have a wife. If she is willing, share with her your problems with the ppl at work and ya'll could pray about it.
And if you're not comfortable with that maybe a men's group. There is power where 2 or more gather in His Name.

Love in Christ,

My wife and I do talk about the goings on at work. It seems like I'm back in high school all over again. Bunch of 2-faced, back stabbing , ladder climbers that will use you as a stepping stone to get a leg up. She goes thru some of the same stuff herself, just not at the level I do. I try to look out for others while I'm at work. That's just how I do things. I put others before me. It appears more clearly now that people see that and are twisting it to help them move up. I'm sick of it. I guess I need to be a me man there. No. I can't do that because I have tried. People see a different attitude from me than what they are used to and ask if I'm ok. It seems like no matter how hard you work and how good a job you do, it goes un-noticed. Do one thing bad, all the good is forgotten and the negative is all that is refered to. I guess that's just how it is in the big corporate world. I know my work is not unnoticed. I know HE sees what I do. And that is all that matters.

Your efforts do NOT go unnoticed. God sees what you are doing. Seek your rewards in Heaven not from man and you will find peace.

I'm on that like white on rice on a paper plate in a snow storm. Me and God discussed this very thing. I know I am to seek His rewards and that I will be duely rewarded here when the time comes. I even heard a "great job" form the super at worl last night. Pretty cool huh??

You wanna talk about blessings. This morning I was at Waffle-House. Struck up a conversation with a guy there who was a minister. We talked for a good 30 minutes about just really nothing. I bought his meal. He asked why I did it. I told him it was for the conversation. Later that morning, I got this awesome deal on a used bike. WAYYYYYYYYYY below what it was priced at. I guess that shows when we bless someone, we truly are blessed in return. Amen to that.

As I sit here on this day, April 3, I think back on my last 34 years. Ive done good and bad. I know its all been for reasons that were unknown at the time. God wanted me to see how things operate. He wanted me to see the good and bad in things and I thank Him for that. TY for the Happy Birthday wish Lord.

I also think back to 74. That day is forever in the memories of those who went thru that wicked weather on that day. I was born a year to the day after that. I guess thats why it is an interest to me. The works of nature that day were deadly and violent. As this post is read, think of the lives lsot and forever changed by that outbreak.

Happy Birthday, bigred. We are so blessed to know that from the day we were formed, God knew all about us. Our birthday, is the day He allowed us to come into the world, and for that we should be thankful, but even more so should we thank Him for the day of our rebirth with Him. Hope your day is awesome.

Don't eat too much cake ;)

First, I'd like to thank everyone for the great posts. It has been a blessing to me. I'm still dealing with things, but its a whole bunch easier now. I know I'm not the Christian I should be. I am working on it. That's a work that will go on for a long time. A very long time.
