1 Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

2 Corinthians 12:9
My strength is made perfect in weakness.

How true those words are for me today than were reading them before , whether at my first round of taking the steps or any other times I'd read them .
At first, I went about it as something that God puts us through so that we'll be able to understand more and being more equipped to help another should they find themselves in the same situation .
Although , to some extent that might be true , but considering one of the pleas in our Lord's prayer we ask that when temtations come (and they will) to help us not to fall (led) for it , which tells me that God, being All-Loving would never do such thing as to "cause" trials , for only He knows that this world is full of it without Him .
And that's exactly what I got from stp. 12 today . It didnt need to tell me that as a human , I WILL fall , I already new , but today's hope was that there is a solution for that , instead of of whining n moaning about falling short , just look UP instead , knowing that HIS strength works best in our weakness , so , the weeker I feel , the stronger , and ever closer I get to my Gracious God , and then some , in my case , not only He helped me come out of it unscathe , but also showed me how much He loved my daughter to use her as His channel , just like He loved the world and used His only Begotten as a channel , although one was full if sin and the other sin-less , but He loved all three regardless . (now please dont get me wrong , I'm not equating my daughter with the Son , Im just pointing out the similarities, ok ? )
Someone used my daughter for my fall , but God said she was mine first and I have better plans for her , I'm going to use her to help you to get closer to Me but you need to get up first and that's a choice you have to make , ask Me , and I will help you because I want to , not because you need to . You look better upright , plus you'll be more visible for who are seeking someone to talk to who had ran the same gauntlet as you .

Today , whatever doubts I had in the past about Him having no use for me, for whatever reason , wether I'm too bad , or had been too sinful , or what not , all those doubt are completely wiped out ,do you know why , Because I ASKed !!

Woohoo vahn, you've got it my friend. God put you through the trials so that He could use you, because you are worthy to suffer the same as Jesus...and for this you are blessed and it's good to see you praising God in this.

I know it wasn't easy to loose your child, and it wasn't easy for God to loose His son...but now you can understand what God went through, and in this He has lifted you up and brought you to a new understanding of who HE really is. This is growth...and sometimes growth is hard and it might be down the path less travelled...but God sees the end of that path, whether we do or not.

Keep fighting the good fight my friend.
