Recovery Thought

Recovery Thought: *ReallyConfused*

Thinking highly of oneself and thinking lowly of oneself have
one thing in common: 'I' is at the center. Where does God
fit in?

Romans 10:3
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going
about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted
themselves unto the righteousness of God.

+ Recovery Prayer +
O Lord,
Remove "me" and "I" from the center of my thoughts and
place Yourself there. You are the only firm foundation. You
are the Alpha and Omega. I am but dust. Amen. *Pray*

Recovery Thought:
Willpower tells me I must,
but willingness tells me I can.

~ * ~

James 3:17
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then
peaceable, gentle, willing to yield....

+ Recovery Prayer +
Father,
In the past I have all kinds of willpower and it availed
me nothing. Now I am willing to change and willing to
yield and countless opportunities for healing are open
to me. I praise Your name. Amen. *harp*

Amen to that! We will NEVER overcome bondage by focusing our thoughts on our problem... only by focusing our thoughts on the answer ... CHRIST JESUS...

Looking back in past today, I ran across this and thought I would share. I needed it and thought maybe someone else might too.

Wowwww!!!! :)
Thanks for posting this!
I never fully thought about it like that before.
Hmmm, and it can be applied to a lot of different yet similar areas of life. :)
John 3:16 says it all folks! :)
