Hello Manofprayer777,
God bless you and welcome to Christianity Oasis.
I'm willing to listen, and I will try to answer any questions you may have. I won't pretend to be an expert, but, I will lift you and your concerns up to The Lord in prayer, in the blessed name of Jesus. God The Father's will be done.
I'm sorry your celebration of Christ's birth turned sour. Relationships can be tough at times. Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus on behalf of you and your mom. God's will be done.
Manofprayer777, I don't know if you have started reading the 14 Day COOL Confidential Christian Counseling Study, but it has been a blessing to me and to so many others through the years. Here's the link...just in case: http://www.christianityoasis.com/CCCC/Forum.htm
The study (listed above) was so helpful to me over 10 years (14) ago when I felt overwhelmed. It helped me, along with many other studies on this site, to grow in my personal relationship with The Lord and God's Word, because each study leans heavily on The Word of God.
Anyway, I hope not to sound like an infomercial, ... but, I do want to give you some hope because God is Good, He loves you and He truly cares!

God bless and keep you, Manofprayer777,

Re: Craig going through deep trails!!!!
Thanks for your help. It just seems like the devil hits me in waves one bad thing after another. Were I live is surrounded by pagans. It gets to be a bit much. Looking for true Christian friends. God has shown me the dark side of Christian. Ever person thath I have meet thath called themselves Christian has been a fake. Dont get me started on the church. I believe and I have seen thath the church is corrupt not from the very top but after thath iit's bad. Remember whath jesus told us not all thath sound religious will make it into heaven only those thath do God fathers will. Most people think thath all christdome will be saved thaths not whath God says only a remnant!!! I don't think God would be happy if he walked through are churches today. Do you remember whath he said about the churches in the book of revelation he was only pleased with one. Yes!!!! We have one the war at the cross because of jesus thank God!!!! But if are eyes are opened were getting are tails kicked down hear to much!!! Since when did the term Christian mean wimp!!! It never did!!! Christian need to start having some back bone!!! This is our fathers world it sure as the hell dosent belong to the pagans and satan!!! Whath about thath one old hym stand up for jesus you soldiers of the cross!!! Most Christian's dont like me because they can't handle the truth when you tell them whath you see in the church!!! Sister it's not saying in the church thath saves your soul its nothing but the blood of jesus!!! God bless you!!! Your the first person thath has shown me any kindness. I opened my heart and bleed all over the place and others just viewed me and did nothing!!! You were the good samaritan who helped me. Thank you. The others thath did nothing there fruits show whath kind of Christian they are!!! Your brother in christ. Craig

Re: Craig going through deep trails!!!!
Hello Manofprayer777,
God bless you this day.
As you know, we're all individuals and each of our relationships with God vary. Some are babes, some are seasoned Christians, and others are in between. Just as all our gifts are different, the application of those gifts are as unique as God's creation, because He is the One Whose works are performed through us, His vessels.
Each of us will give an account for our life. Thankfully, we do not have to give account for other peoples' lives.
I'm often reminded and struck by the following verse: James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
So too, I'm reminded of this blessed Word too:
John 21:20-22 20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
I, too, find myself questioning on occasion, in my mind, the choices of other Christians and wondering what they were thinking. And, yes, on occasion I found myself in full fledge judging mode. Eeeeek! God forgive me.
I encourage you to persevere and continue walking in faith. The Apostles were often attacked by the enemy, but because they continued to follow the lead of The Holy Spirit, in their faith, they overcame in Christ. Continue your service to The Lord with the gifts He has given you. Share in His love. His grace is sufficient.
Just as you said, It is by the blood of Christ that we are saved. Amen!
God bless and keep you,
Mack
Jesus loves you Manofprayer777. Prayers continue to rise in the name of Jesus on your behalf.

Re: Craig going through deep trails!!!!
Thanks sister mack. I know the bible tells us not to judge and you wont be judged. We will all be judged on judgment day. Not judging is unrealistic at the least and very dangerous and cold coast you your life at the worst. God said you will know them by there fruits. He also said be wise as seprants and gentle as doves. The world is always been hostile to true Christian and it's only going to get worse. God has got are back thank good news. We need to have each others backs. The secular people don't worry me to much most of them you can spot a mile away. The ones thath scare me are the false Christian they can give you a hugh or he holding the bible with one hand and sticking a knife in your hand with another. God bless!!! Craig

Re: Craig going through deep trails!!!!
Hello Manofprayer777, aka Craig
God bless you this day.
Yes! Ye shall know them by their fruits. Amen!
I actually agree with you. Oddly enough I find that I seldom agree with most Christians, especially those who appear on TV and who readily share their opinions concerning the world affairs, who they support in Politics, society in general and/or whatever. At times the state of the country and the world, etc. really frightens me, because I wonder if I'm believing lies that keeps me from agreeing with those differing Christians. All I can do is pray, and seek The Lord for peace of mind and direction, because after a few minutes of watching the News I can feel myself wanting to scream which if I am not careful will allow fear to enter in.
II Timothy 1:7 7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, and that anyone who believes on Him shall not parish. I NEED Jesus. I NEED His grace.
Prayers continue to rise to The Lord in the name of Jesus on your behalf. I pray His peace fills you abundantly. God's blessed will be done.
God bless and keep you, Manofprayer777

Re: Craig going through deep trails!!!!
Thanks sister mack for your quick response. The world is definitely upside down. Seems like evil is winning if you look through human eyes not eyes of faith. We know thath the war is over and king jesus one thath war overwhelming!!!amen such a wicked world we live in hard to stay positive. All these shootings. Just recently in a Texas church two killed by a crazed gunman after they took the lord's supper. Whath about the scripture thath says no weapon used against they will prosper???? A question I have asked other Christian and no one seems to have a answer in Gods mind is there a difference between murder, self defences and killing. I was told the ten commandments originally said. Though shall not kill not though shall not murder. Whath are suppose to do let innocent Christian, children and others be slaughtered in the streets without trying to use deadly force to defend them to me thaths as great a sin as killing someone. The guy in the church thath killed the gun man is seen as a hero. I think so to does God see it thath way???? I have told others on judgment day God doesn't care about your opinion or mine his is the only one thath counts. We are told though God tells us to come reason together. Sounds like we talk together resabile. Are we allowed in heaven if we disagree with God??? Or does thath lead to rebellion??? God even tells us my ways are not yours. My thoughts are not yours. Would like to know whath you think on these things. Will keep you in my prayers. Craig

Re: Craig going through deep trails!!!!
Hello Manofprayer777 (Craig)
God bless you this day.
Blessed news about restored relationship with your Mom. Hallelujah! Jesus is Good...all the time. Amen!
That is truly fantastic, Craig. God loves you both so very much.
Before I try to answer some of the questions you asked/posted over the weekend, I want to correct something I posted in my very first response to you. I had a typo in my first response where I said I had been a member at this site for 20 years. That is incorrect, and I'm going to edit my post after I finish this post. I actually joined this site in October 2005, so it's been 14+ years. My intension was to type 10+ years. After re-reading all our posts, I discovered my error.
On the topic of killing, murder, etc., golly...that's a tough question. I know God is our defender. I also know that according to the laws of the land, we have a right to defend ourselves and others for that matter. However, just as with so many other things in this life, often God's law and the law of the land differ. I cannot offer up any scriptures that specifically excuse the taking of a human life whether it was due to murder or an act of defense. I trust the blood of Jesus to cover our all sins, but I wouldn't deliberately commit a sin using God's grace as a get out of jail free pass. I think it is a matter of heart...the intent of the heart and mind of the person who commits the act. God knows our hearts and our every thought and intention that we may or may not act on.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Blessed Word of God. I'll try to share some of my thoughts about this. We live in a sin-fallen world. Our salvation in Christ guarantees us an eternity...eternal life. We still have to get through this temporary life here on earth. We have the assurance of God and His Word that whatever we go through here on earth, that He has us securely in His heart and hand.
I don't think it means we will never have to deal with hurt, pain or victimization here on earth in this portion of life. I can rest easy though knowing God is with me through whatever I'm going through -- be it pleasant or unpleasant. Satan knows his time is running short, and his evil intent is to try and separate us from The Lord...to try and convince us that there is no hope. That is where our faith comes in...
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Notice the words hope and hoped.
Also, let us not forget that one of the fruits of The Holy Spirit is faith.
Galatians 5:22-23 King James Version (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The Holy Spirit indwells us and we need only talk to Him to access all that blessed fruit and dine on The Word of God.
Here is a good Word to dine on:
John 10:27-29 King James Version (KJV)
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
I hope I've addressed some of your questions. Have a blessed day, Craig. Jesus loves you.
God bless and keep you,
Mack

Re: Craig going through deep trails!!!!
Thanks for trying to answer my question. This is why it is hard being a Christian we don't have a lot of answers were like job. God is with us and never leaves us yes. He does leave us in the dark on specific answers to some of life's most difficult questions as he did job. Whath do you do if you see a child or a edlry person being raped or killed. Do we fold are hands and do nothing. Thath is not loving!!! Like the person who took the gunman out in thath church after he killed two. I say he is a hero!!! The song says onward Christian soldiers not wimps!!! God bless!!! Craig

Hello Manofprayer777 (Craig)
God bless you this day.
Don't be discouraged. God loves you and He will never leave or forsake you. We have the assurance of God Almighty.
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Prayers continue to rise to The Lord in the name of Jesus on your behalf. God's will be done.
