It is important that we have a strong understanding of why we should should be able to discern the workings of Satan in the son of perdition if he comes while we are waiting on the coming of our Lord. It is written that even the very elect of God might be deceived...if it was possible...by the workings of Satan through false apostles and the anti-christ. He comes with all manner of signs and lying wonders.

2Thes.2

[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

I've heard a few of the higher tier ministers say that if anyone ever gets a handle on the power God has given us through Christ our Lord nothing would be impossible for that person...not going to happen...we've been given the Spirit in part and by measure and by measure God has divided His gifts among us. Such is why we need to emphasize the study of the 7 Spirits of God. The more we know of how our Lord divides His 7 fold ability among us, the more we should be able to identify the workings of the anti-christ, false apostles and teachers working miracles among us. If any one person seems to have the fullness of the Spirit he is not of our Lord. Such is one reason why we need to continue learning about the workings of the 7 fold nature of God in both the Old and New Testaments.

1.[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
