Understanding the Spirit of God; Spirit 2 of 7; Wisdom

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Hello Christianity Oasis, All...

Blessings!

As we stated in our first article on the 7 Spirits of God, He that has the 7 Spirits is no other than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When we think of God we are to look to our Lord for He is our vision of our Heavenly Dad himself. If we have seen our Lord, we have seen our Heavenly Dad. He is our vision of God Almighty. In Christ we find all the fullness of God. In Christ we see the physical form of God, and in Christ we see the 7 fold spiritual nature of God. All that can be known of God the Father by us can only be seen in Jesus Christ our Lord. In Christ dwells all of the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He has the 7 Spirits of God. He is The Spirit of God, but He is also The Spirit of Wisdom, and has been made wisdom to us. He is our wisdom. When we need wisdom we must look to Jesus Christ our Lord for it is He that has The Spirit of Wisdom. It is through The Spirit of our Lord that we receive wisdom, but such wisdom only comes to us in the form of The Spirit of Wisdom. In application the Spirit of Wisdom shows us better ways of doing things and sees ahead things that will be and shows them to us.

1Cor.1
[30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom…
Prov.4
[7] Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
Prov.16
[16] How much better it is to get wisdom than gold!

I like the way the Apostle James describes the Wisdom of God and how it is we have access to it.

Jas.1
[5] If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, (find fault with); and it shall be given him.
Jas.3
[17] But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

It bears repeating. If we need wisdom we are to look to our Lord for it. He is our wisdom. No other kind of wisdom will help us walk the walk and talk the talk in the Kingdom of God. We have been told that we can’t do anything without Him.Yet many of us spend many years doing just that. Such being true, the problem is this. We have not been taught as a baby Christian the importance of The Spirit of Wisdom in our lives. We have not sought Him through Christ Jesus. We have not asked our Heavenly Dad to give Him to us. Such is not wise on the part of Christian teachers to hide themselves from the Spirit of Wisdom. Notwithstanding, a baby Christian often tends to be a carnal Christian, and carnal Christians are more apt to be persuaded to walk in the wisdom of this world. If we walk in the wisdom of this world, we walk in darkness. If we walk in the darkness of this world, the Spirit of Wisdom is hidden from us. If we would walk in the wisdom of God, we must grow up spiritually. If we would grow up spiritually…away from the carnality and the wisdom of this world, we need to ask the Father to give us of His Spirit of Wisdom, and learn to do what The Spirit of Wisdom shows us to do, and how to do it, and that is in the love of God and one another.

End, Part1, The Spirit of Wisdom.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
