01/21/14: I am scared to death because I have little money, no job, and no place to call my own. I
have a lot of feelings consisting of anger, hurt, and betrayal. I feel like I want to run away but, I’m too
scared. I’m ashamed of what I’ve done and of where I currently am in life. I really don’t have anyone to
talk to except for God and I find it difficult to do so at times. I give up in frustration and rebel against
myself by getting drunk and sleeping around. I’m in a rut and no matter how I try to get out of it I wind
up doing the same thing again and again. Today I am choosing to do something different and I already
know this will help me with my relationship with God. I once had an awesome relationship with God
and life was good! I was happy in every sense of the word! I want that relationship back but, my anger
and hurtful feelings has been keeping me from doing so.

Hello Millie, welcome to Oasis. I'm sorry that you are having these difficulties. But I'm very glad you are seeking God. This is a wonderful place. I hope you will explore it.

God works in awesome ways. But many times we are in our own way.

Jesus died for our sins. When we repent, change our ways, he is faithful and just to forgive. Even if we have to repent many times. But making Jesus LORD means we let him lead.

I hope you can find moments of peace to hear God, because God does speak in the peace.
