I am having problems..i want to start a journal but i find it so hard to get in touch with my emotions ect..for years ive both abused myself by saying to myself " your useless" " worthless" god does not love you ect..i was married but it was an abusive marriage...its like im being shadowed by dark feelings..i feel fear and i tend to hide what i feel. i suffer from disassotioative disorder and im totally distanced myself from me and everything..please pray that i may find answers..im totally lost..ruthgoddaughter

I'm glad to see that you are journaling, and I hope you are also reading the 14 Day Counseling study. As a Christian you are a new creation -- a new creature through the bloodshed of Christ Jesus, our Lord and Saviour -- and this study will help you discover that the temporary life of this flesh is no longer the goal, but that the new and eternal life is now the goal, where we walk hand in Hand and spirit to Spirit with The Lord and where we learn to overcome through Christ Jesus.

I am so thankful to know that the Lord has brought you here. The journal doesn't need to be an emotional one. Somedays I wrote just because I needed to keep up with it. Other days I just was crying over it and I hadn't even expected the emotions to come out! When I found this counseling program I was so lost. So broken. So worthless in my own eyes. I told myself whatever happens I'll try it and see what God does. Sometimes God can heal in unexpected ways.

Don't give up on it because you have a hard time connecting with emotions! God wants to show you how much He loves you and how special and precious you really are to Him!

Don't give up yet you are in my prayers!

i started the program myself and am on Day 10 it has been great for me i have felt better. i will be pray for you to have God (Jesus) show you how much He loves you. take care
