Jennifer's journal 2nd day

Postby jennifergn » Wed Jul 03, 2013 2:02 am

Today was better than yesterday. This morning I was so sure I was gonna lose it. I called someone up as I sat in the parking lot at work, not able to go in because I couldn't stop crying. I got some words of comfort, and some nice words when I got to work as well. But I'm so sick of the weeds in my life. Or maybe they'll always be there, but I'm so sick of being choked by them. Life is too hard, but people say oh just let God handle it, or, stop worrying and trying to control everything. Geez. I think I'll just let God handle it when I have no food, no hope, no way to pick my son up from school so he's hitchhiking home, no way to pay bills and the creditors are calling. How irresponsible. I'm waiting for God to handle it. He isn't. He hasn't. And this life is too hard for me. I can't do this, but God isn't doing this either.

Hello Jennifergn,

God bless you this day.

I'm glad that your are reading the 14 Day Counseling Study (CCCC): http://www.christianityoasis.com/CCCC/Forum.htm

Continue reading it, and paying close attention to the scriptures within each stepping stone. The Word of God is nourishment to the soul. I know that you are tired of people telling you this, that or the other that seems contrary to your own life's experiences, so I'll just let God's Word, God Himself, tell you. God desires to have a personal relationship with you. He loves you, Jennifergn.

Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus on your behalf. May God's blessed and perfect will be done.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack
