Help me Father

Postby pray4me2 » Fri Jun 21, 2013 9:41 pm

My life seems to be out of control. All these things are happening around me. I pray but sometimes my prayers don't seem to be answered. Sometimes I feel like just ending it all. At least maybe the pain will go away. I feel like I am alone with no one to help me. I look for a church but I can't seem to find one. I wonder if there is something wrong with me. *help* Please Dear Lord Help me !
May God Bless You.

Dear pray4me2,

You are not alone dear one. I can't speak for others, but I can speak for myself, that I too, had times in my life that I just wanted to end it, figuring that it couldn't be any worse than what I was going through. I was so wrong, and I am so glad that God showed me that I have "purpose" in life and you do too.

God promises that He will go "through" the fire (circumstances) with us. In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are thrown into steamy fiery furnace. But, they are not alone. Jesus is with them. He went through the fire with them and they came out unharmed and didn't even smell like smoke. hahahha. God wants you to personalize His Word. His Word after all, is His Personal "Spiritual" Instruction Manual for man to live a safe, abundant life in Him. Let me give you an illustration below using Jeremiah 29:11-13 if I may:

"For I know the plans I have for you (insert your name),” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you (insert your name) and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
12 Then (insert your name) you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
13 You will seek me (insert your name) and find me when you seek me (insert your name) with all your heart."

That is a "promise" to you. Draw closer to the Lord by reading His Word everyday. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you spiritual truths. And then ask Him how you are to use what you've learned in your daily life. When you abide (stay) in Him; He will abide (stay) in you. John 15:7 says, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." Wow! Sounds like another promise to me. God's Word is like a spiritual treasure chest just full of precious gems. It's up to us go treasure hunting to find the ones He has for us. :)

Jeremiah 31:3b "...you are loved with an everlasting love." *Halo*

We are here for you. Tender blessings and prayers to you dear one.

You definitely aren't alone on struggles or the thoughts you are having sis. Unfortunately the enemy is hitting us all pretty hard.He knows his time is growing short.

There will be times of peace and times or struggle. Praise Him through it all because He is faithful. He sees you and hears you and is working things out for you.

God cares and so do I.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
