Postby lovelyleo50 » Fri Apr 12, 2013 2:00 pm

I got fired yesterday, and I believe they wanted to give my position to someone else. I am hurt but I really don't have anymore tears left. Please pray for me. :cry:

I am so sorry to hear that. I am praying for you at this very moment. I know how it is to be out of work. I'm trying to find a job myself. Try indeed.com and careerbuilder.com those are two I always go to. I pray that God will help you find a good job quickly and one better than you had before.

Lovely *hug* I am so sorry to hear this. I've had the same happen to me on my birthday even. As painful as this is God can use this to move you into a better place. A place where He wants you. I know that doesn't take away the pain and the fear but it will help with them and the hopeless feeling if you let it. Praying for you.

Dear lovely, I'm so sorry to hear that. That is painful. I pray you can be comforted knowing this did not take God by surprise. He knew and knows. He causes "all things" to work together for our good. May He comfort your heart and give peace to your thoughts. I pray He direct your footsteps and lead you into His prefered will for you. Doors do close in our lives at times, and sometimes even close in our face, but He is God over it ALL. So glad He does not 'fire' us. You are loved and accepted in Him. Peace be to you. Julie Ann

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
The God and Lord of the universe is saying this. Please trust in Him despite of the circumstances. I am praying for you!

Hello Lovelyleo :)

God bless you this day.

I know the shock that comes with a firing, however, there is a deeper lesson and message from The Lord, that right now, the "shock" to the flesh is not allowing you to see. You were not happy at your job. In fact, by all you have shared in previous posts, concerning your job, you were quite miserable: depressed and feeling like you could not trust them, walking on eggshells and having to watch your back, constantly. God desires more for you.

Sometimes we'll endure more than is necessary out of a misplaced sense of loyalty and responsibility. You, however, have recently started to explore your new life in Christ, asking for God to lead you and have His will made manifest in your life. God has allowed the firing because He knew that you would not give it up on your own, for whatever reason. God knows the reason, as He knows you intimately, and He knows the plans He has for you -- plans to prosper you. So, dry your tears and keep talking to God and reading HIs Word and the study(s). Seek The Lord, allowing Him to renew you so that you'll be able to hear His instructions for you. The Lord has this, and He loves you.

Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus on your behalf. May God's will be made known to you, and God's will be done.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack
