Hello I have been feeling lost for some time now and I am turning to God and Jesus for help. The problem is that I am scared and nervous because this is all new to me. I am dealing with depression brought on by job loss and health issues and need the guidance of the Lord to see me through this. I do not discuss my feelings with anyone other than my wife so there are many challenging tasks in front of me but I am ready to start this journey.

Hello lostandempty! Welcome to the Oasis! What a blessing it is to have you here with us. Lostandempty...what I would like to share with you first and foremost is that you are not alone in this struggle. Jesus is right there beside you and He has brought you here for encouragement and support through the healing process. Job loss, depression, health issues....these are all things that many struggle with...but just know this...you've got someone on your side...that can help you find joy and understanding....again that would be Jesus! Jesus loves you and He wants to give you good things in life...He wants to bless you...and see you with joy in your heart for Him. You are now taking the first steps to finding that joy....and I won't say the journey will be easy...because it won't be...it takes work...but if you seek Jesus and you walk through the counseling steps, and you really want to find renewed joy...than I am sure God will bless you with such...despite the trials and struggles you face now or will face in life to come.

I truly understand how you feel. Go to this website http://www.lovehealsdepression.com this guy with his videos will truly help. I've spoke with him over E-Mail and he really wants to help people like us.
I will be praying for you. God is with you and he does hear your prayers.

You know all of my needs and desires. Your Word says that it's Your pleasure to give me the desires of my heart. Father, this burden is too heavy for me to carry, and I was not designed to carry it. I willingly give it to You. By faith I believe that You're working in this situation right now for my wholeness and for Your glory.
