Good eveing, and Happy Resurrection day!
First let me say, I had a wonderful day in church, I got my praise on, and I do Believe God was in the house today!!!! Church was great and I felt so good to be there. Now, I have been reading and studying the Virtuous Woman and I wrote down all the scriptures for me to read. I really do like Virtuous Woman, and I enjoy how they break everything down and make it easy for me to understand. I have decided to give all that I am going through to Jesus and allow him to take care of it, nothing is going to stop me from Jesus. I know I have alot of reading to do, but in the long run I know it will be worth it. Glory to God. I' not going to allow the devil to defeat me. I still have a long way to go, but I will get there with God's help! GOD IS NOT THROUGH ME YET, IT'S ONLY THE BEGINNING *Halo*

Be blessed, and have a wonderful day!

Love,
Sister Joann *JesusSign*

Good evening, I hope and pray that everyone had a wonderful and blessful day. Just when I thought things were starting to go good for me, I get slapped in the face, now I have been working for this company for 5 years, and 3 years in the activity department. Now I have to give up my hours for someone who hasn't been there for a year just because she doesn't want to work weekends. I don't think it's fair for me and I feel like I am being stabbed in the back to please someone else, which means I will have to leave church early and go to work. So one week I will get my 40 hrs and the next week I will only get 38 maybe 39 hrs. I don't think it's fair to me at all. I have prayed about it and gave it to Jesus, but I still feel railroaded. This person isn't even a cna or a certified activity person. Just because she doesn't want to work weekends I have to get shorted on one week. And I feel like they pretty much want me to give up the things that I do at church, and the sad part about it is, my supervisor and the administrator knows I work at my church on Sunday's, and my supervisor knows how important my church is to me. And my supervisor claims to be a Christian, but how could a Christian to that to another Christian. So I am asking please pray for me and please give me some advise on what I should do.

May God Bless everyone

Joann *hug* I so understand what you are saying, as I too work in my church, and whenever I have to miss I feel this empty feeling as if I have lost something for that week. But in Truth...as long as Jesus is with us wherever we go...then whether you are in the church serving him, or in a care facility working for a paycheck...and serving the ones who are unable to care for themselves...I believe Jesus will bless you. There is a reason that everything happens in life...and I pray that you will seek God in this matter as He knows why your hours are being changed...He is not surprised by this did you know that? God already knew this was going to happen...so trust Him...and be not dismayed...there is a reason.

Praying for you.

Take care

Have you told them how you feel?
They should have asked you about it before doing it, but that ship has sailed.
I recommend that you write up your objection and then let someone else read it to make sure it is very matter of fact.

"I was not consulted prior to my schedule being changed. I have seniority and this schedule change does not work for me. I am willing to compromise, but I need my full 80 hours every two weeks and I also need to go to church. I am available .......Thank you for understanding."

It might not work. But at the least if you write the letter, then the next time they are thinking of doing something without consulting you, they will know that it could be a real problem.

Hugs.
