Stepping Stones Two

Postby MadameSarge » Fri Nov 16, 2012 12:30 am

The weeds I have in my life is doubt, fear, and negative thinking. It happens because of past and what my husband and I are going through right now. These weeds I know do get me depressed sometimes and overwhelmed. It is hard to renew the mind and trust God has everything looked after in our lives. We do thank him for what we do have. We are on welfare so we don't get enough to live on but do go to food bank and soup kitchens when we need to.

hi how are you ? my name is elizabeth , single mother from new jersey . welcome to christianity oasis, i hope you are enjoying it here. i understand what your going through , when i first started here on christianity oasis i was so lost and hurt so full of anger, hate ,loneliness and fear i was very overwhelmed i didnt know where to turn. i invested alittle time in christianity oasis and it has helped me so much. im a changed person now. its a great feeling . i learned that everything i was going through was because of how i was living my life ,and i was living my life as a woman "of the world" as a young child i was never taught any good values or morals . i was always surrounded by so much negativity growing up . that became my life . i soon began to analyze the life of others around me , worldy people and the life of christians and i decieded i want the christian life . i refused to let my kids live and expirence what i had to go through. if you wanna live a more better positve happy life it starts with yourself. you have to make a change in your life and stick to it .... another thing that alot fail to realize about marriage and relationships is that ..... the world , the people , love and marriage was all created by jehova god . when two people( man and woman) join together as one without making jehova god a priorty in their lives, they are not gonna recieve the blessing of jehova god. the man will not know his correct role as a loving husband and the woman will not know her correct role as loving wife. now a days woman tend to place themselves as head of household ,as the dominator or "boss" in the relationship and the man tends to accept it to mantain peace in the relationship and slowly but surely this is how the relationship /marriage begins to fall apart and eventually come to an end. they then begin to wonder what went wrong and how could they have prevented this from happening. in order for to have a loving happy and successfull marriage you must place jehova god as a priorty in your life , and he will do the rest : ) i hope i have helped in any type of way and also i hope the best you and your family . i will pray for you . god bless you and your family ...... : ) happy friday : )

Dear newbegining, Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. As Son of God (100% God) John 20:28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” and John 10:31-33 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” Without trying to become to technical, Jesus (the eternal Son of God) taught us when we pray to address Father God as Matt 6:9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. I've noticed that you refer to Father God as Jehova God and was curious. You posted on Day 8 of stepping stones that you studied with Jehova Witnesses and that you planned to attend their meetings in their Kingdom Hall. What do Jehova Witnesses BELIEVE ? I know what other people say, but who knows if they are correct. I've heard it said that J.W.s believe that Jesus Christ was an angel (a created being) and not God. What do J.W.,s really believe ??? Hi Jimf =) I heard that Jehovah witnesses intrepreted the bible by themselves, and then they teach people what they themselves understood. I don't think they believe the whole bible, and im not sure what their common beliefs are, but since they interpret it themselves, it may not be accurate and it will vary. I think they rely more on their interpretations more than the bible, but im not completely sure. Also, they deny many traditional christian doctrines, (including the divinity of Christ) but preah the second coming of Christ, and refuse military service and blood transfusion on religious grounds.
