Hey everyone,

Thought I'd introduce myself, as I've just joined.

I'm a 28 year old ESL teacher to students aged 4ish-12ish living and working in South Korea. I love teaching. =) I was saved at 7 years old, and really sort of got "a hold" of that as a teenager. I am very fundamental and conservative in my beliefs.

I found the website through looking for some resources in helping with depression issues in general. I suspect at this point that I have PMDD (the monster-version of PMS). Where the truth lies in that I'm not sure, I might eventually even get to a doctor about it, but anyway that is my Oasis discovery. (Anyone with experience with this? Would love to chat!)

I do hope to venture into areas other than these in order to make some solid friends, but I suspect that will be my first focus.

Hi, Christabell.
I was experiencing depression too before I came to this site. I had a terrible outlook on life. I was a bit skeptical about this site after a friend told me about it, but I'm glad I joined. The Stepping Stones studies has taught me how to dissect my thought process and improve my quality of life. Sounds like a gimmick, but that's how I feel.

I was surprised to find people giving genuine feedbacks that reveal their love for God and His people.

I am also new and I am currently doing the 14 day Christian Counseling study and the "Spirit Of Truth" study. Encouraged everyday by just like (itsjanet) just mentioned the feedback from the other brothers and sisters are genuine and I have found are from God's instruction for us.
