Healing path day 3

Postby Brendolynn » Sun Nov 04, 2012 8:07 pm

Today i decided to post my journal on line, yes on day three. I want to be accountable and also want to receive the blessing of others with prayer and guidance on this journey. I am so glad to find the community here and this 14 day study. I can see my garden of life and the flowers and the weeds I have sown in that garden. Walking with God for a portion of my life, and walking with the world the majority of my life.
By Gods Grace I have a opportunity to turn my life around, and start living for the Lord again. I have stumbled many times and carry a lot of shame and guilt. To the point of doing very little because of the disappointment of my own actions. But I have to finish the race and need the help, hope and love of the Lord to carry me through. So for today I am choosing to believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, sins that I may not be able to forget, but to learn and grow from the past. I pray for the Lord to give me a new heart and to feel his loving presence in my life.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal :Matthew 6:20

I don't think you'll regret posting journals. :) We've all stumbled. Our guilt may play a part in keeping us distant from God. I'll be praying for you. I pray that you can find the courage to receive forgiveness and cast away shame and guilt. (I'm going through this too.) Let God reign.
