Hospitalized Children
1:30 am here at Children's Hosp. in Detroit, MI, USA.
Looking around, marveling at all the macines, the dedication of the nurses, doctors, volunteers, and housekeeping staff.
Amazed at all the expensive equipment that offer comfort and life sustaining advantages. Understanding that
these things don't come without your grace, the mercy you've placed in the spirits of those who have gone before us,
and the love in the hearts of those who attend to us in our hour of need. This place does not exsist with out Your will.
We are the beneficiaries of your blessings handed down and perpetuated over time.
So many children, Lord! So many!
For many, you provide miracles of healing in a variety of ways.
For some, you call home, in the most precious miracle of all.
There is one consistancy in this place. Your Love.
Tonight I do not stop by on route to deliver breads nor donuts or bagels as I usually do when I come here.
Tonight I sit next to my son. Fever interfering with his breathing and oxygen levels. Or perhaps vise versa.
Not exactly sure at this time. But God knows. And in God is our trust.
I prayed for my son on the half hour drive to the hosp. When I walked thru the emergency room doors, I realized
my prayers were meant to cover many more. First one was for the Mom fighting back the tears as her child, who
at first glance looked about 8 years of age, but quickly noted the body of a one year old. Second was the parents
who were sitting next to each other, holding hands, stareing blankly in confusion at thier child as he lay there,
asleep and breathing short fast breaths. The third was the constant cry of an infant as the nurses tried to comfort.
Knowing there were many more on the several floors above, as the angels of mercy gathered about my son, I went
into prayer for the others. I prayed for the specifics, as I knew them to be, for those HE placed directly before me.
Then I prayed for the unknown causes of those who have come here.
I invite anyone who may feel lead to join me in prayer for the children in our hospitals. As the causes are many
and we have been personaly spared much of the suffering experiences ourselves, I offer an open prayer thru the
Holy Spirit as He will know what specifics to pray:
Lord! Lord! For the children is our cry.
Amen

Re: Hospitalized Children
Here is a prayer / verse that someone wanted me to post:
Dear Nellie, as i read your mail, I paused to say a little prayer for brother Tims son. The Spirit placed this verse on my heart Isiah 41:10 "Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." I would like you to do me the favor of posting this verse on the forum for brother Tims son, he should meditate on it day and night.

Re: Hospitalized Children
Thank you all for your prayers and support!
You are all such a blessing to my family.
I give the Lord thanks and praise for being a part of this family at Christianity Oasis.
Thian was diagnosed with asperation pnemonia, again. Doc says because of his cerebral palsy
not all parts fo his body grow at the same rate. When he has growth spurts some parts get left behind.
In Thian's case it is his throat and swallowing muscles. He already has lung problems from birth and
scarred lung tissue from previous bouts of pnemonia.
Thian is doing fine now. We are back on his health care protocol. His oxygen levels drop at night
while he sleeps so he is on oxygen at night. He uses thickner in his liquids and will start occupational
therapy for swallowing.
We saw several children and parents leave the hospital during our stay. Their smiles and spring in their
steps brought joy to our Spirit. At the time of our departure there were several empty rooms. Activity
on the floor was light and calm compared to our previous visits. Your prayers. YOUR prayers, family, were heard!
All, praise and glory to God!
Love each and every one of you!
Thians wants me to tell you all that Jesus loves you.
And says Hi to Uncle Real.
God Bless You all,
Timothy
