update
Hello,
I havnt been on this for a while, just wanted to update on my son...
It wasnt long after his second surgery that he began having the same symptoms again, it is now Sept. and he has not been able to eat again. He drinks his food, and has been in pain since about one week after surgery. (May)
I know God is in control, but I wonder.... Does God want him to live a life in pain, out of school and life, and on pain meds? I dont know the answer to that, cuz this has been his life basically since he was 12 years old.. (now 17)..I think it is different when someone has a disability without constant pain and pain meds that render you useless.....(still tough I know) but.... I guess my question is... Do we need to stop with the "searching for an end to his pain, and just accept the life on the couch with pain meds?" could God actually be saying to us Yes, this is his life... accept it?......Im sure God can say that, but I just dont know??? any ideas? ( the pain meds just reduce the pain, not eliminate it )

Re: update
Hello crzychik,
*hugs* I am so sorry for him having to go through the pain. I can't imagine it is easy for you or the rest of the family either to see him in pain and to only be able to do so much about it. Again You will all be in my prayers.
Acceptance does not mean defeat. It may be so that the Lord will heal your son, it may also be so that he won't in the way we would like him to heal him. But i do believe if we ask the Lord for healing, some form of healing will come our way. Whether it be known and realised to us or not.
This day, humbly accept people and or situations the way they are and hope for the best at the same time. Each day we have a choice of accepting the circumstances of our lives as they come to us. And each day He will carry you through as you seek peace with the situation.
Acceptance equals peace and gives us the capability to move forward, TODAY.
One day at a time sis.
God bless your family.
♥Jill

Re: update
My heart aches for you. Praying.
I do wonder if God isn't saying, for a time this is what must be. I do not believe He is saying this is life.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
