Struggling

Postby Remnant » Sat Sep 15, 2012 6:46 am

The last couple of days I have been struggling. Can't seem to get it together. Today - I feel the Holy Spirit surrounding me. My comforter. Able to breathe again. Thank you Jesus. I am like a little kid who cannot be away from their parent. I just want to be underneath God's arm - forever protecting me. I don't want to go thru trials and tribulations, I don't want to be tested. I just want to be near Jesus - just let me sit at his feet..that is all I need. forever.

God grows us in the challenges. This life is about growth. When we let him lead, and let go of the struggling and striving, we get through the challenges much better. Funny how growing is about letting go.

Hiya Remnant,

Take heart, these struggles of this life are meant to mold us if we change our outlook on them.

Here is a quote that has opened my eyes about struggles and what to do when they come.

“Always fall in with what you're asked to accept. Take what is given, and make it over your way. My aim in life has always been to hold my own with whatever's going. Not against: with.”

Robert Frost

Now i dont fully agree with the latter part of that quote but it is the outlook and change of perspective that i agree with. He will not give you more than you can bare, trust Him *Cross*

It helps to change your outlook of these "trials" in a positive light, then you will be able to hold your head high and walk with Him through them. You gain confidence in your Lord, your walk and yourself as you practice changing your outlook.

God bless
