Stepping Stone #1 - Day 1
After reading the first Healing Path section, I realized that anything is possible through change but only possible w/ the help from the Lord. I don't need to hang to old heavy baggage that has weighed me down for years. I don't have to live in the past or fear the future. If I want to wake up happy, I can!! but I just need to re-program the way I think, feel, behave and react.
The main issue/problem that I have been facing is letting go of the past - all the hurt/pain that I have had to deal w/ caused from other people and even myself. It definitely has caused my life a lot of heartache and unnecessary problems. When I was growing up, my childhood wasn't very good and I didn't have a relationship w/ God, my parents never were effectionate and certainly didn't praise me or express their love. (I'm a mother and I don't understand how a parent would never do that to/for their own kids). However I have to remind myself that the past can't hurt me anymore nor should I let it affect me. I need to embrace today and make the best of each day. I do have the option/choice to be happy! But I also realize that I need to have a very close relationship w/ God in order to be successful.
Until tomorrow...God Bless.

Hello,
I am so excited that you are here! God is amazing!!! I am on stepping stone 8 and am absolutely amazed with what I have been learning and feeling. I can really feel a renewing of my spirit and a change in what my mind focuses on. Keep doing the stepping stones. This is probably the best thing I have ever done. Very exciting. God loves us so much, and these stepping stones really drive that home. Love you in Christ.
