It's day 12 & although I haven't worked on any stepping stones today (yet) I did listen to some broadcast from Pathway To Victory by Dr. Jeffress. God has been very busy working on me & I want to tell all that I've been spending more time on this site & listing to Christian music & message than I have watching TV or doing anything else. I've been able thru God's power to avoid those things that could cause me to fall & I'm seeing things thru God's eyes not mine. I also want to convey how grateful I am to all the love & support I have received & how much I appreciate your patients with me; I know I can be over bearing at times!
I also wanted to share the following that I posted on my Facebook page…
To my wife Jan, sons & daughter; Johnny, ChrisAnne, & William, my brothers; Paul & Bill, all my nieces & nephews; Cecile, Renee, Jason, Kathryn, Sarah, Dylan, I have failed you all. I have failed you because I have failed to follow the manual for life & that manual is The Bible. Instead I decided to go my own way & follow my own selfish desires which has caused so much pain & suffering both for myself & for those around me. It caused me to become disconnect from the most important thing in life; YOU! There are many reasons (none of them good) which I won’t go into detail about now but despite all that I have always believed what The Bible says; John 14:6 Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. I ask you right now to take those statements to heart, ask God to reveal Himself to you, & if you haven’t done so already to ask Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior! If you are one of my Facebook friends I ask the same of you. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!! The world will tell you you’re an intolerant bigot if you believe that & that all religious beliefs are the same & all lead to God. But if you study all the world’s religions you would know that’s not even possible because they all don’t agree. God’s truth not man’s truth is in The Bible & I encourage you all to read it. The world if full of lies because Satan; the father of all lies, is the ruler of this world. One of the worst of these lies is “political correctness”, DON’T BELIEVE IT!!! Go to the source of the Truth; not my truth, not the world’s truth, but God’s Truth, it’s in The Bible. I talked about being selfish & the world will tell you that it’s not only ok to be selfish but that you will find happiness in pursuing your own desires. They’ll tell you if it feels good, makes you happy, & doesn’t hurt anyone else then its ok. IT’S NOT OK! That’s another one of Satan’s really big lies, don’t believe it, it’s the road to ruin. Please don’t let the world, bad circumstance, problems, etc. keep you from God or from the truth. In Romans 8:6 it says To be spiritually minded is life & peace! AND THAT IS THE TRUTH!

Hi John,

It is commendable that you are making great efforts to make amends for your actions or lack thereof to those who mean so much to you. It is good that you are spreading His Word and the Truth to them as well. Just as God waited patiently for me n for you , He waits for them too. Often I found in my experiences to reach others and touch their hearts with God's finger, it was moreso through my actions in my daily life that drew those around me to Him, rather than my words. When they see the change and happiness that I have now through Him in my life they ask... What happened to u? Why are you acting this way and what caused this change in you? Ahhh and at that blessed moment the Holy Spirit speaks to their hearts and mine too for that matter, because it is through my witness to them I can see how far in my walk I have traveled with Him. It is an awesome thing to share His love and grace to those around us.
