Day 7
Wow, this is an extremely important and challenging topic--pulling the weeds, dumping the trash. Not sure I know how to start, maybe I'm making it too complicated. I would appreciate any suggestions or simple ideas as to how to go about doing this. I'm definitely interested in making a habit of this; I know it will go a long way towards healing my heart and mind so that I can be of some good to God. Thanks and God Bless.

Re: Day 7
You already are of some good to God.
Weeds can be thoughts that are unhealthy or not truth.
Pull them by recognizing they are unhealthy and/or lies and replace them with what the bible says is the truth.
What are some thoughts you have that are harmful to you or others?

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Re: Day 7
So... I was determined to find a way to document my weed pulling, at least for the recommended 30 days. So I asked God to help me, and we came up with a very nice spreadsheet (my answer to everything!). It lists the problem, the negative feelings/emotions, the lie and the TRUTH. So now my spreadsheet has two sheets--one to track my daily activities/goals, the other to identify and pull the weeds. Thank You Holy Spirit!
