Heya gingerkitten,

It was really good to meet you in the shoutbox yesterday. Its so much fun to goof off in there with the others..lol

I got back on track now with your posts here. Please know that Im praying for you..and your kids. May the Lord's will be done in that whole situation.

Sister, one thing stuck out to me in your posts the most...that is the unforgiveness you hold against yourself. Dont ya know, Jesus has already forgiven you for whatever it is youre holding on to the guilt over? He paid your price, sis. He loves you so much that He didnt want one day to go by without you..so He wants now to heal you and bring you closer to Him so you can feel His love for you. I may be wrong, and if I am, let me know, but it seems you are feeling very discouraged and alone...and beaten. Im here if you wanna talk...as are so many here at Oasis. And please know that you are never alone..even though you may feel you are.

Dont give up. Its a long road..and surrendering your all to Him isnt easy. Opening yourself to Him completely isnt easy when youve never been able to trust. Let Him show you.

Im praying for you. So many here are as well.

In Jesus,
love momo *Halo*

MORE FLUFF & STUFF

Postby gingerkitten » Fri Mar 02, 2012 2:55 pm

Well, NEW Year... Fresh start right? Sure hope so, cause I'm starting the 14 day Journal again from the top. God will deal with all my issues if I only ask in HIS name to do so. Well, DAD... I'm backkkkkkkkkkk... proceed with Healing. What I don't understand is Why I have to get so "trapped up" with what others think of How I deal with my life. I do the best I can with what I am given and Prayer is always HUGE for me. Do others understand this, NO I just don't know how to Deal with people who can't deal with how I work. I am Hopeful and Prayerful that through this Journey HE will teach me and Heal me of my dependence on others views for MY sense of value.

Ask and it shall be given, Believe me I am ASKING FATHER, What do I do NOW...

*dunno* *Pray*

I didn't meet you the first few times around, but I've read your previous posts and I am glad you are back. I know if you listen God will answer you, matter of fact even when we don't listen He shouts it or places it smack on top of our laps so we can't miss it. Sometimes I pray and then I open my Bible and I have to smile because God answers me so plainly that I just think He'll never cease to amaze me will He?
May God bles syou Ginger and you don't need to know how to deal with others, let God do all the dealing that needs to be done.

First, Let me say Thank you to you for taking the time to read my posts. Mack Thanks sis, your support is a Blessing always. Now with that said, on to Step 2.

Weeding, yuck... you know I was going to ask how do you weed what seems like a whole field of those. But I was out and about yesterday and picked up a cool devotional book a friend had told me about. "Jesus Calling"... I started on the entry for March first, and I tell ya it HIT me hard so I know it was God's Leading that had me start there. Main point of the day was that we can TELL HIM anything and we should have NO fear in doing so, I'm thinking... Wow first the Stepping stones, now this devotional "I am doing this right". Yesterday's reading was on How he wants us to know HE is Life... and HE LIVES through us for sure. I'm like all over that one. Then this morning was "Learning to hear his voice" in our quiet times with him and just how special that is.... "When we as HIS sheep" hear his voice and follow HIM only. I get here and the step is... "Pulling the Weeds in our Garden" or as I kinda paraphrased to myself, Kicking the "Weeds" out of our gardens, and Running from the voice who is NOT of God. It may be a Long job..pulling all the weeds but, I'm ready... ONE weed at a TIME...

Hi ginger I too was not here for your first go around so I had some catching up to do. But now that I have I am sooo glad that you have decided to work on your steps again. I wouldnt put to much worry into what others think cause like my MomMaw always said "they dont pay your powerbill" you'd have to imagine a lady in her sixties in full makeup and a cigerette coming outta her mouth and a Southern accent. She was always telling me that when I would get upset about what someone would say or think. It was her way of asking me "Do I really need them to survive?" The only person we really need to survive is God and you got him always he's not going anywhere even when we think we want him to leave us alone he never abandons us. He loves you. I look forward to following along with you on your journey.

You guys are the best.... Seriously, and right on the ball with the thoughts of MY day. WOW...

Step 3... Forgive & Forget yikes, NOT the easiest thing on the planet even to ask for much less have to do. But Along with this 14 day Study here I am into my Devotionals as well, and did I say they are tying together or what... this mornings devotion was on Worry, and how useless it really is to do so. God has Me covered in everything that's gonna come up so as the book put it this a.m. WORRY NOT !! I can forgive myself of the little mistakes but the Big ones... I sometimes have trouble with "Worry not". I will for today realize... I am God's little girl, I listen only to HIM, I can tell Daddy anything and forgive myself and others for mistakes made. Why? Cause I am HIS and HE is MINE... I can forget the mistakes of the Past, because through HIM I am covered and am free to Worry NOT.

Step 4...

Forgiveness of Self... Now here is the kicker, I have come to realize in the past few days... okay month's that if God can forgive me... of everything I have done, or failed yet to do. Why am I making it so much harder on myself? In the past few month's if ya'll haven't seen it, I've tried to ease up on myself a bit. Like I said if God already has forgiven me... I have nothing to fret over cause its done. That in itself is a reminder to me everyday to stay close to HIM. I'm nothing special to others, really. I'm a screw up just like the rest of us cause I'm Human. But God see's me not as others do, but the way HE made me to be.

I AM MORE, and HE isn't mad at me or disappointed.

BECAUSE I AM HIS

Ok, I warned you all I got stuck on step 4. Well this kitten is stuck no more... least not on that step On to step 5.

Whats my Problem? Ha, kitten doesn't have time to list them all and I doubt you all have time to read them. But I will say the study itself named it pretty well, I'm a selfish brat and want my own way most of the time and okay I get angry when it doesn't happen MY way. Then again, what "Kid" doesn't? I THANK GOD he is a Great parent, and doesn't allow my tantrums to detour HIS Plan. Just sends me to a "time out" and we proceed. Thanks you guys for allowing me to spend most of my "time out " times with you all.

As I have said before, I know HE is with me and has me Covered. So I am not going to yank back my problem but Hand it to Daddy to fix.
