Journal Day 12

Postby Listening heart » Mon Feb 20, 2012 1:32 pm

I don't like falling  I don't like feeling the feelings of anxiety, fear and stress. They hurt me and my heart aches. It seems that as soon as I repent of these untruths, I get a fleeting peace and then it all starts up again the next day. I suppose I am under attack more because of choosing to go deeper with God these last few weeks. I have been feeling so weary of it right now.

I continually remind myself to 'Come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden' and ' He who waits upon the Lord shall mount up on wings as eagles' I keep holding His hand.

I know 'patience worketh faith' - but 'Hope deferred makes the heart sick' too. I cry out to Him that soon I will have some refreshment and peace and 'renew my strength'

I would value your prayers If you feel to do so - or any word of encouragement that you may feel He is asking you to pass on to me.

Thank you x

Hello ListeningHeart :)

God bless you this day.

Those moments of peace, no matter that they may seem fleeting, is proof He is there with you. Imagine, if you will, that you can see Him. I know you cannot, but, just imagine it. :) Those anxieties would just vanish, wouldn't they? Being in His presence would make anything that was dogging us in our mind to just vanish, because seeing Him would hold all our attention. Well, the same is true, even though you cannot see Him, He is still with you.

Those times when my carnal side seems to be too strong and intent on listening to the worrying thoughts, I play music...upbeat music from my past, and it pacifies, or calms down, my strong carnal side. When the carnal side of me is pacified or calmed down, it doesn't war as much, and then through faith in Christ Jesus my spiritual side rises -- ignited by The Holy Spirit. wooooooohooooooo!

Here is an example, and a link, to a song from my past that helps calm down my roaring and warring carnal side....

"Do You Believe In Magic" by The Lovin' Spoonful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuiNtC4kURk

The miraculous power in your young girl's heart, is the presence of hope...via the presence of The Lord. The Holy Spirit is with you, always.

Remember to take every thought captive, and if the thought only brings fear, flick it out. :)

My prayers continue to rise to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

Hi,
There is a battle going on.
darkness verses Light.
Greater is He that is in you that he that in the world.
Fight the fight of faith.

Hi, I know exactly how we feel. We may be trying to overcome different problems but it seems the devil has the same tricks up his sleeves and is trying to use them on any one who will fall for it. Luckily for us, we know better! :) I was just about to be hasty when I decided to read your post & I believe it saved me from doing something I may have regretted. So thank you, God does work in mysterious ways! I will be praying for you, I know how it feels to be weary. I got down on my knees for posisbly the first time day and I cried. I still dont feel that peace which I am seeking, but I know its coming. Thanks again & yes we must believers in magic! God's blessings now and always
