Journal day 2

Postby Listening heart » Fri Feb 10, 2012 7:13 am

I can't find the words to describe how this step has affected me. I will only say that it is profound. I felt God speaking to my heart a lot, and understanding come. I have seen the miracles that have happened over my life and that the barriers to the answers to my questions are not immovable at all, but mainly my perceptions and beliefs that were not the truth.

It is so true that His ways and thoughts are not our ways and thoughts...

We have to come to the understanding that the love we feel is not the unconditional love our heavenly Father has for us. He instills this unconditional love within us. Our earthly parents are influenced by "worldly love" and none of us love very well...some less than others. We grow up confusing this worldly imperfect love with God's love when really, His love is totally different from what we know. My sister in Jesus, rest in the fact that His love abounds in us as He changes us from the inside out from day to day as we seek Him and His ways. We build our own belief systems and through those systems, in our minds, we limit what the Lord can do in our lives and in the lives of those we love. Truth says there is no limit..no boundary the Lord is held to. We were created to soar with the Lord but our belief "systems" limit us and clip the wings He's given us as children of the most High. I believe this is just one of the reasons we are taught in His word to not lean on our own understanding. Easier said than done, but, nothing is impossible with the Lord. The battle is in the mind. Keep seeking Him..and His will..praying constantly, reading His word, listening to music that will glorify Him and lift your spirit with His truth. He has so very much to show us, every day He gives us is a part of His plan for our lives.

God bless you, and Im so glad the Lord led you here to Oasis.

Praying for you along this path. It is going to be awesome! *BigGrin*

Hi listening heart so glad God led you here. I know it is not easy it wasnt for me, but I know when I worked on my "weeds" I felt so much better. I chanted most days "Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world".... (my version). :) So when you start feeling down look up and remember that God is with you always. You are doing great and I look forward to taking this journey with you.

Loves danty *bravo*
"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." Mark 11:24
