Hi Everyone
I have not been here in a while. I thought I would give a short update. I have finally been able to see a therapist for my emotional problems at a dis counted rate that I can afford. I was accepted at UTSW Hospital in their clinic. It has really helped me so far. My therapist got me in touch with a psychiatrist, also at a discounted rate. My family doctor was contacted by the psychiatrist and they are both working together to get my medicine straightened out. I have Epilepsy and I suffer from Major depression so my medicine is a little tricky. I am now being weened off of my anxiety medicine. I am so thankful for that. Please keep me in your prayers.

Hi Steve!
Have you heard of a diet called the ketogenic diet? Not sure how that is spelled. You need to watch the movie "First Do No Harm" if you haven't. Many people have gone on this diet and it completely put a stop to ALL seizures. The little boy in this movie was having grand mall seizures and almost died. This movie is based off a true story. Soo hard to watch, but so worth seeing it through to the end. Keeping you in prayers

Re: Hi Everyone
Hey calebsmom77,
I have a niece who was having multiple grand mal's a day when she was 8 years old and she was place on that diet and with in 2 weeks was off all meds and not having seizures and with in a year was clear of all epilepsy. She was cured thanks to this diet so it does work. for sure. She is now 23 and has 2 kids and has not had ant seizures since she was 8 years of age.
