Hello djdisimoni4Christ,

Nice to meet you *Wave* .

Well my friend, i would say that love for Christ grows. Much like a flower. Starts as a seed, grows tall, buds, then blooms in all its glory.

To keep the love alive and growing we have to nurture it, spend time taking care of the relationship, and keeping Him the centermost of all your attention. Your love for Him will grow as you deepen your roots in who He is and what He has done for you, and why He has done it.

It is not something that i could ever "learn" , it is an ongoing experience between me and my God. I have my ups and downs and my ins and outs. But unlike wordly relationships, His is unconditional. And in this love He has for us we then begin to reciprocate it out to others around us and in our earthly realtionships.

Well Im rambling... i hope i have at least touched a small portion of the depth and width of the love we grow into with Him.

Enjoy Him :) Find pleasure in the things that He finds pleasure in.

God bless

Hi djdisimoni4Christ,

So you struggle with loving God huh? Well I think that it's hard to love what you truly don't know. God says to seek and ye shall find...and I see that you are seeking to really love Him. I want to encourage you to just being talking to God. Tell Him that you are struggling with loving Him and that you really want to love Him. Tell Him why you struggle with loving Him....and tell Him why you want to love Him....the more you talk to God...the more He will become a friend...and you will find this friendship through Jesus Christ.

Reading your Bible is another way to become close to God. As you begin to know who He is and what He can and will do for you, then you will begin to form a bond...which can quickly grow into the love you seek.

My prayers are with you....keep seeking...you will find Him...

Take care and God Bless
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Test and trials can make you feel weak and exhausted. But there are ways that you can strengthen your love for God. Try reading your bible more. Reach out to someone else in need. Pray. Or you can do what I do sometimes when I really need to feel close to God and feel his love and that is: I go to a quiet place and reflect on all of the wonderful things that God has done for me. Sometimes I go outside, sit, and just concentrate on nature until I feel the peace of God surrounding me. But do what you think you need to, to get back in tune with the love of Christ.

Hope I helped. :)

Surrender to Christ. Give him your heart. He will do the rest. We Just need to be willing.
How you treat and love those on earth = How your treat and love Christ.

Hello Djdisimoni :)

God bless you this day.

What an awesome question, and it's awesome because I know He has placed a yearning in your heart. God is so very Good!!!

Jesus is our Daily Bread, and Jesus is The Word, and He is Alive, therefore the Word is Alive too, and He wants a real relationship with His disciples...us. :) Isn't that awesome?!!! You have a blessed desire, and it is because He has that desire too. We love, because He loved us first. Yeah!!!

At the moment we received Christ Jesus as Saviour, The Holy Spirit came to dwell within us. He will make His presence known, but, He is so very gentle, and will not just shove His presence in our face. I Corinthians 13 is such a blessed description of what love is, and He is love. Awwwwwwwwwww, so listen for Him and that still, soft voice of His.

I see by your profile, that you enjoy music. That is one of the things He used to have me aware of His presence and to hear Him was that He would place a reminder of a song within my heart -- maybe a few words, often an entire lyric, or maybe even the tune playing in my head. I had this knowing, somehow, that it was from Him. God is so very cool how He does that...places a knowing inside us that it is Him. Anyway, I started looking up all the lyrics of each song reminder that He placed within my heart, and I would be blown away, because most of the songs He reminded me of were not considered Christian songs, but wooooohoooooooo when He got ahold of them, what a blessing!!!

While we do walk by faith and not by sight, Amen, Amen, Amen, His very presence within us gives us access to the fruit of The Holy Spirit:...Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Did you notice that most of those fruit usually reflect an emotion -- a positive and lovely affectation of the heart. (is affectation a real word??? rofl) well anyway, for me...I sense we can "feel" them, AND, to feel all those lovely and positive fruit/emotions would be AWESOME!!! wooooooohooooooo!!!

At this point, I really want to share a song with you. Of all the hundreds, if not thousands, of songs I love, there is one particular song that I have in my heart right now to share with you. The song itself was written by Bob Dylan, and one of my favorite renditions of it is by Billy Joel. (Side Note: I'm older, soooooo some of my favorite songs are older too) *BigGrin* The title of the song is "To Make You Feel My Love". Imagine if you will, that the song's message is from The Lord, Himself. Because, well...He loves you.

Prayers are rising for you. May God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack
