What happened didn't make you who you are. You are who you are despite what happened. :)

Look at the good qualities that are with in you despite the what you've been through, child of God. He loves ya! And so do I!

I have not journaled for a few days so I have some catching up to do. I spent a nice weekend being absolutly cranky and out of sorts. I have no reasoning behind the way I behaved this weekend, and it really irritated me to know that I was acting, and feeling so down when I know that it was so unnecessary.
I think the last few days have really been filled with me trying to find ways to avoid this site, and all that continuing the stepping stones was going to do. It's funny how a person can want something so badly yet push it away all in the same movement. I hope to keep on the right path without to many more days like I had over the long weekend, but I guess it does make me want to work on the steps even more in order to get past the bumbs in the road.
That all for today, but I will return tomorrow to work on another step.

I can see the love of God working with in you. He's revealed to you how you're avoiding. And you were willing to receive what He revealed. With a relationship like that, you are bound to grow and over come. :) Keep seeking Him.

You are doing well. *Clap*

I found myself lost for couple of weeks, wondering if I could truley be what is asked of me. Facing the truth is hard, and asking for forgivness is even harder. I feel unworthy, although I know I will be forgiven I continue to hold on the same old stuff that makes me run away from the Lord in the first place. I have been asked to attend church services, but I fear that I would simply lose any composer I have and end up a puddle of tears. Low battery is cutting my post short but I will be back to journal tomorrow.

Hi lookingfor?

Its nice to meet you. Ive been away for a while, but the good Lord led me back to the Oasis. Thank You, Jesus *JesusSign*

My sister in Him, He doesnt let go of us, we let go of Him...but, gently, He calls us back.

I have been a "Christian" my whole life...and many many times Ive walked away..out of fear..out of not wanting to change my lifestyle, for many many different reasons..and, Ive hidden myself in shame. Sister, He already knows every step we are going to take. You can't catch Him off guard. He knew before the foundations of the world..what you were going to do. Shame is a tool the enemy of your soul uses to keep you from going to God for forgiveness. It keeps you from His healing..and it keeps you from allowing the Lord to show you your worth in Him..and the plan He has for your life...(which by the way, is so much better than we could ever plan for ourselves)

There is no way we are ever going to not fall and fail..not in this world. Only in eternity in Heaven with Jesus will we not fall. Until then, we are sinners, saved by the free gift of grace when Jesus showed us how much He loves us by dying on the cross to take our places. Give the shame to Him. I know how our enemy whispers these things into our minds...every single person on this earth is a target for his arrows. The second you ask Jesus into your heart and ask Him for forgiveness, He does it. In that moment, the Holy Spirit comes in as well. He empowers and teaches and heals us..and He is alive in you from that moment.

Mack said in a previous post that He is the one who makes the changes in us...and its so very true. Keep seeking Him with your whole heart. He hasnt given up on you. Dont give up on Him. He loves you so very much.

Im praying for you. There are many here praying for you.

One day at a time.

In Jesus,
love momo *Halo*
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.
