Stepping Stone 7

Postby tahisia » Sun Jul 10, 2011 10:24 pm

Hello, I have not posted in a while  I have thought of the forum a bit and just didn't log on to post. I believe I am going to be okay though. I have found a wonderful program that I was able to download to my phone that is currently reading the NIV version of the Old Testament to me right now. I am really enjoying it, I have NEVER known the books of the bible and am sure that this will help me a bit more. I find myself thinking of the reading a great deal of my day and it brings peace to my heart. I listen to it when I am in the shower, driving (connect to my radio in car), cooking, or just laying on my bed. I do find myself a little confused at times but I am not letting it stop me, I have a trusted and knowledgeable person who I can turn to when those time come about. *ReadBible*

Stepping Stone 7 proved to be helpful just as all of the other stones, it proved that I do need to take time out to sort through the truths and untruths that are being told to me. It also showed me that I am needing to work on the story-telling myself. *Pray* GOD knows I am tired of living a life of not trusting many people, I am cautious of pretty much anyone, people that I know and ones I don't know. In a way that can be good but I also see where that could be a very bad thing, my guard is always up. It is difficult because someone could be telling me the truth and I automatically assume they are "blowing smoke".

Well, I am about to start homework and start back listening to the Bible *Halo*, I pray everyone has a safe week and stay blessed!!

Welcome home Tahishia *hug*

About the trust issue....turn to God and ask Him what He says about what people are saying. Ask Him if it's truth or not.

Are you able to hear Gods voice speaking to you? That small inner voice.

God bless and keep you.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Hello tahisia, *Wave*

Good to see ya back *AngelYellow* Whoever thought we could actually enjoy listening to the bible, hu? *BigGrin* His Word heals like no other and pours over our soul and fills in all the gaps and crevices to make us complete in Him lil by lil, less we get stretched to fast and burst. *Cross* He takes good care of us, if we let HIm.

'As far a trusting people, I have come to realise that all are prone to mistakes just like i am. And some are also prone to be enitced by another unfavorable not of God, and many times they do not even realise it. They are blinded. Ask Him to reveal what is True and we can do that by looking and studying the Truth and listening to HIs voice.

Guards are helpfull, but they can also keep us from getting to experience life lessons and fellowship with others. Trust Him above all, man WILL fail... we are mere man ;) Weigh everything with the Truth, He will not lead you wrong in areas of trust.

You said it sister, He is LOVE!!!!

love ya
