Grateful Newbie
The Holy Spirit heard my cries of lonliness, despair, and my pleas for help.
Suddenly a thought came to my mind "Try searching for Christian Support Group online."
That had never occurred to me during all the time Ive looked for answers on the internet such as How to parent, how to save my marriage, how to raise teen boys, bible verses etc. you get the point.
I clicked on this site somehow and the blue color instantly put me at ease. I felt cool and couldnt wait to find out what this place is about. I jumped right in wanting to connect with other believers and I have felt so welcomed and inspired just after 2 days of Spirit of Truth. I tried a chat room today that was just getting ready to go to the Voice of Truth Bible Reading.
I was so happy to be connected across the country over God's word.
Thank you, you have made my day and I am happy to know that I am not alone.
Grateful newbie,
Denyse Diane
P.S. This is the second time I write a reply, somehow the first time I tried to put on smilie and ended up losing everything I wrote. I thought this feels like an attack, I could give up and not connect or I can retype what I want to say all over again. So Im not letting anything get in the way of strengthening my relationship with other believers and the Holy Spirit!

Take a deep breath... I promise it is not as complicated as it sounds... I just talk a lot
Option #1
The next time you compose a message, first scroll down to where the following buttons appear:
*Save draft* *Preview* *Submit*
Just below there, on the left you will see the following two tabs:
*Options* *Upload Attachments*
Under the Options tab, which is showing as default, check to see if there is a check mark in the box next to "Disable Smilies" if it is checked, click the box to remove the check mark.... this will enable smilies for your messages and prevent the loss of shared messages.
OR
Option #2
If you wish to enable the option for smilies in all messaging features rather than message by message, please do the following:
ucp.php?i=prefs&mode=post
Click this link.. now please note it is likely to redirect you so this message will be a page back. If you hold the Ctrl button down on your keyboard as you click, the link will open in another window no worries either way.
Now, on this link page, you will see all of your "Posting Defaults"
If you click "yes" to the option by smilies it will enable them for all posts then you can just click reply or "New Post" and smilies will work
The choice is yours sis!! If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate!
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace." (Romans 15:13

Re: Grateful Newbie
Hi
Welcome, I am also relatively new here. I often find just as I type a reply or go to read a response from someone my internet connection will go down. But like you, I try and again and won't let anything interfere with building my relationship with God.
