i gotta tell yall...this eating as Daniel did, saying he would eat no pleasant food and only pulse, and seeking Holy Spirit to guide me and teach me is amazing. I have discovered that not only is making the food at home fun, but it tastes good and i'm blessed by sticking with it. Holy Spirit reminds me when i reach for something else, even gum (chemicals) and crystal lite (not water) that this is a relearning process. it is a submission, completely, to His will. and the more i honor Him by listening to His guidance the more He guides me and abides in my thoughts. Monday, in it's craziness with soccer, soccer, baseball and driver's ed, i was tempted. i had no time to eat but was hungry and had that taste in my mouth like when you're very hungry. i started to get a piece of gum, but He spoke to me and we had a discussion about the complete submission during this relearning time. i drank some more water and kept reading my book. yesterday was trying in that i was tired and not feeling real well because of a headache and neckache, and because hubby was grumpy and because of feelings of being wronged...and i really wanted to eat a cookie. i opened the cabinet, but Holy Spirit reminded me again that i am relearning how to eat. what eating is for. and again, complete submission. HE is so good to me. HE loves me unconditionally.

sorta!!! so glad to see you're eating something besides gum! i was really starting to worry about you.

eventually you'll start to notice how differently not only how you feel on the inside, but the outside as well. your skin, hair and nails will start looking better...and attitude will adjust as well. when we nourish our bodies with food it takes on a whole new meaning into "looking good".

i continue to pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you to make the right choices in everything you're doing. \0/

ok i hafta tell yall. this is utterly miraculous! with this "fasting like Daniel" i have found that i ask Him about everything i eat or want to eat and He answers me. When i feel a hunger pang i ask should i eat now? He answers. If yes, what should i eat and He will tell me - when i see what i should eat He confirms. i dont even think about eating! its like eating is no big deal. God is so amazing! and the more i do this with eating the more i find myself giving Him every little decision. even which route to take when driving! woooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooo!
