Early Monday morning....4:37a.m....

Went to bed at 10 last night....Read 6 chapters in my Bible, and then a couple of chapters in another book I've been trying to finish for a few months now. Turned out the lights...fell fast asleep.

Wake wide awake at 3:30a.m!!! Let the dogs out...Felt the cold air on my face when I opened the door.....Can you say BRRRRR! Indeed!

Got dressed. Doggies settled back down...they're sleeping now. Moved my laptop into the dining room, grabbed my old "boom box" and have it tuned into a local Christian radio station. Nice quiet music....Helping to clear the cobwebs out of my brain. Looks to be the start of a glorious day! Thank You Lord! :)

4:30a.m. Breakfast/early morning "snack"...8 oz. grapefruit wedges, 1 bottle Dasani water.

Monday morning....6:30a.m.
Breakfast: 2 Cups hot oatmeal with brown sugar. 1/2 bottle of Dasani water. (those grapefruit wedges didn't fill me up).

Worked on my program for Wednesday night...Listened to some "soft music" on the radio. Found lots of information for my program that I have been searching for the past few nights. Woooo hoooo!

While waiting for the water to heat up in microwave for oatmeal, I put a pan of water on the stove to boil for eggs. I've got a lil' leftover salad from dinner last night, and will eat it with a couple of egg whites and finish off this bottle of water for my mid-morning meal at 8:30a.m.

10:30a.m. Fish sticks, 1/2 Cup fresh spinach and 1/4 Cup mushrooms for salad with a couple of Tsp. of spicy french dressing.
1 bottle Dasani water.

12:30p.m. Lunch: Grilled Chicken patties, 1 Tbsp. of salsa. 1 bottle Dasani water.

Song keeps going thru my head at the moment...."Trust and Obey"....'Trust and Obey, for there's no other way.....'

Last night before I started my "Bible Stories" reading, the doggies and I were all tucked up in the bed....I just started to sing......."Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong. They are weak, but He is strong! Yes! Jesus loves ME! Yes! Jesus loves ME! Yes! Jesus loves ME! THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO".... :) After that, I sang out a few lines of "Praise You In This Storm".

No matter what is going on in my life, I am learning to praise Him...Storms or not...He is worthy of praise, thanks, honor, guidance, care and love. Without Him in my life.....whew, I cannot even think of thinking about how sad and messed up I would be. I will ALWAYS praise Him....! GOD IS GOOD!

Thank You Lord for taking this journey with me. May what I do to my temple be pleasing to You....."In all I do, to HONOR YOU." Amen

Wow...Incredibly bad......Fell asleep around 1p.m., after being up since the wee morning hours. Didn't wake up until 5:30p.m.

No afternoon in-between snacks...no water......

Dinner was late tonight. After feeding the dogs, I made myself a couple of chicken breast patties, and a side dish of fresh mushrooms(about a cup)with dressing......1 bottle of Dasani water.

Worked a lil' more on the notes for my program this coming Wednesday night. Tried calling mom earlier...She wasn't answering the phone. I'll try again tomorrow.

Mid-evening snack....3 ounces of dried Cranberries, almonds and sunflower seed kernels mix(Transfat/Cholesterol free...)

Tuesday morning, 7:37a.m. Woke up in a good mood. Slept like a baby last night. :)

Breakfast: 2 hard-boiled eggs(whites only), 1 bottle Dasani water, a few slices of thin-sliced deli style ham.

Another COLD day here! Another day that I'll have to put off cleaning up the yard. It's supposed to be windy...Might burn some twigs in the fire pit though. I can't stand being cooped up, but I'm glad we don't have snow on the ground! :)

22 minutes til "Rise and Shine". As much as I'd like to sit here and twiddle my thumbs til then, I need to get my notes together for tomorrow nights program. I still have a LOT of typing to do!

11:00a.m. Ate an early lunch. Chicken breast with spicy french dressing for "dipping sauce". 1 bottle Dasani water.

I'm feeling tired. Maybe since I've been typing my program notes since earlier this morning. I'm almost done though. But I am going to take a break, see what's happening in chat....and i might just go for a wee nap this afternoon.

Just realized it's been one week since I started on this program! Wow! Where has the time gone?!?!

Called mom earlier since I didn't talk to her last night.

Pulled out my summer-time dishes....wanted to make my eating "experience" a little more colorful this evening. Had tuna on a bed of lettace with mushrooms and diced tomatoes and caesar dressing. 1 bottle of Dasani water....It was good...I am full. :)

Early evening snack: 1 Danon blueberry yogurt.

Wednesday morning. 7:43a.m.
Woke up early with the doggies @ 6a.m. Let them outside while I went to the kitchen and got my breakfast together.

Needed a boost of energy....felt sluggish(is it possible that I got tooo much sleep last night?) I don't know, but I was amazed at how wiped out I felt.

Breakfast: 1 Cup of spinach greens, tuna fish, 1 hardboiled egg(no yolk), a handful of mushrooms and 1/2 bottle of Dasani water. Afterwards, 8 oz. peach slices. Am feeling more alert now.

Mid-morning snack, 8:30: 1 strawberry yogurt, 1/2 bottle Dasani water.

Friday morning...3:50a.m.

Well, yesterday was a complete wash-out for me in terms of journalling, much less eating. I'd been fighting the "chills" since Wednesday(all day)....and feeling like I'd been hit by a truck....And my mood? Oh man....I was in a NASTY mood yesterday!!! I don't know why....I hate when I'm like that...I just "lost it"....My poor dogs. They look at me as if to say, "what's wrong mom?"

I don't take my anger out on my dogs....I NEVER WILL. My anger has nothing to do with them. I love them. I would NEVER hurt them. They know they are loved.....and yet, they rule the roost. LOL Yes, my hubby and I live for their comfort, not ours. LOL

I walked into the bedroom....I yelled at God....all my energy spent from yelling and sobbing, sat down on the bed, then I told Him I was sorry, that I didn't mean what I said, and I don't know why I said it. He must have forgiven me, because an hour later I was all calm, cool and collected..as if nothing had happened. THANK YOU! \0/

When the doggies and I went to bed to read "Bible Stories" it was very peaceful...I prayed, read 4 Chapters and the 4 of us fell asleep. They were snoring in unison. All three of them....with all 4 paws up...BUZZ-SAWS! LOL

When I was younger, and not feeling good, or in a mood-I couldn't find enough food to stuff down my throat!

Now, since I'm older, when I don't feel good or am in a bad mood, I don't want to eat...

So yesterday I really didn't eat much of anything...for most of the day I just stayed quiet...rested....slept off and on-which is the reason I'm here posting so darn early THIS morning! I definitely got my share of sleep, and then some!!! lol

Feeling better. Doing laundry. The doggies are asleep...It's raining out. Yet another dreary day.

Have had a bite of grapefruit slices, and am drinking down a bottle of water(my throat feels so parched)! Now the ol' tummy is saying 'feed me'. Gotta' see what I can 'rustle up' in the kitchen...I'm thinking.....Oatmeal and a couple of eggs. :)

I'll get back on track with journalling today...

Thank You Lord for another day. I love you! Renew my strength...Make me see that what I am doing is all about honoring You. AMEN

Monday early evening.....538p.m.

Crazy day! Spent the morning at the vet's office(had to get my 'distemper' shot) LOL! ;)

All kidding aside....One of our "kids" has not been feeling well the past few days. I've been hand feeding him, because he has not been wanting to eat on his own. He's lost 5 pounds, just mopes around the house...and has been limping on one of his paws.

Breakfast was quick....a bagel and cream cheese. I went back to that time in my life, where I eat crazy stuff when I'm upset. It was good though, and it did hold me over until my late lunch/early dinner after the trip to the "doggie doctor".

Late lunch/early dinner: 2 pieces of baked chicken breast. 1/2 bottle Dasani water.

Tomorrow is grocery shopping time. Have to get back on track. Feeling drained. I will be going to bed early tonight...I can feel my body shutting down already...like "it's time for a nap"....

Doggies were given medication to combat fleas before they "attack" and make my lil' guys sick.

Our one doggie's limp is caused from when he was a hit-and-run victim years ago. The other day he jumped off our bed and landed kinda' crooked...but he got right up as if nothing was wrong...scampered out the the back door-ran to the back yard fence and barked at the girl doggie he loves, who lives next door.

BUT, ....the past couple of days it has bothered him. So the "doggie doctor" wrote him out a script for some muscle relaxer, and antibiotics(because next week he is having dental work done).

From today's visit and next weeks dental visit, the total cost is around $1,300.00. I am praying that the Lord will provide for us the funds necessary to cover the cost of this.

I realize that none of this really has anything to do with journaling about "my body...His temple", but it's been on my mind and I'd rather get it off my chest...so I can start to concentrate about taking care of myself again...getting back on track...cause a sick mom is not going to be able to take care of her doggies. They need me. :)

Please keep our dog "Lucky" and us in your prayers...For healing, finances and peace. And say a prayer for my hubby tonight...He's "on the road again" on his way to New Mexico. Pray that God sends mighty guardian angels down to protect him and others who travel these open roads-until he is back home again. Thanks :) *hug*

p.s. on a positive note....I managed to bypass the local McDonald's on my way home from the "doggie doctor" this afternoon. I easily could have driven up to the drive in window and gotten myself something that I did NOT need to eat. So I am proud of the fact that I totally blew off the temptation and drove on by!! Thank You Jesus! \0/
