Still Struggling

This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

Still Struggling

Postby Worship Leader » Thu Feb 17, 2011 1:19 pm

I feel into temptation last night, I failed to submit to God and resist the enemy and the flesh. I prayed this morning for the Lord's forgiveness and help. I got back up and I am going to continue running to the cross that is; Jesus Christ. This morning I completed stepping stone 9 and I posted in SOS. I am reading a book that was mailed to me from a Christian elder friend called THE BONDAGE BREAKER

Amen

Never quit, never give up, never remain in discouragement. Keep going and keep trying and always be thankful for Grace through Jesus Christ.

God bless you

day by day and moment by moment. you're doing well. keep going. everyone falls down or stumbles or gets into somewhere they shouldn't be and gets hurt. just like little ones (learning to walk). Precocious toddlers and schoolage children that just -"have to know"; and disobedient "I wanna do it my way teenagers". The results are usually the same though some conssequences more extreme than others.

No matter what, God picks us up, disciplines us, or just says, wrong way, get out of there in a LOUD voice. He's a nice God.

Day by day; moment by moment. He already knows what your strengths and weaknesses are. He's willing to help you through.
