Single and seeking to be married...Step 2

Postby favored1 » Fri Dec 17, 2010 4:19 pm

Today, I did step 2. I don't think that this study is for singles, widows, or one's that has lost loved ones. This study is more for married couples that are having issues in their marriage. It's very hard to get into this study because I'm not married, so therefore, I'm not having a problem with my marriage. Today's step was a little discouraging. Hopefully tomorrow, step 3, will be better. On the other hand, I guess it can kinda help me prepare for the day when I do get married.

Since I've started the study, I'm going to go ahead and continue all 7 days. So I'm going to show love toward others, not just so that I can complete step 2, but because God is love and I want to be more like Him.

As always, please pray for me as I continue to pray for you.
Hope to see you all in the forum tomorrow!

Oh please don't give up... it will be worth it all when you are finished. :) It definitely will help you to know WHY you shouldn't marry someone that is not a Christian. I went that route and trust me ... it is exactly as the Lord predicted it would be... rough! *Cryin*

The reason for reading it is because you will hear people say "trust me I know what it is like" :) just as I just did! *laughter* But you need the WORDS point of view on this .. not just people telling you. ;)

I tell you what has helped me going through some of the programs I have gone through... I ask the Holy Spirit to help me to have the UNDERSTANDING I NEED & THE KNOWLEDGE TO TAKE ALL OF THIS IN where it will help me in my day to day life. It's not easy learning new things and sometimes they are things we already have heard but we are now seeing in a DIFFERENT LIGHT! *Yikes* *laughter*

I'll keep praying the Lord show you everything that you need to know and MORE... so you will see the AWESOMENESS OF GOD! Let me know if you need anything. :)

Love... Linda *Cheer*

Linda, thanks so much for your words of encouragement.

I just wanted you to know that I'm not going to give up. I know that's what satan would like for me to do, but I know that God wants me to complete it. So I've made up my mind that I will keep going.

I know that this program will help me. Although I'm not married yet, this program will help me in the near future. Actually it'll help me now, it's teaching me what to expect from the husband that God is preparing me for, so that I don't make the wrong decision when choosing my spouse.

If there's no love and charity, then there's nothing!

Again, thank you for your help, it meant a lot!

Thanks Linda
