Hey Rachel
You can use the prompts to continue your prayer as your heart leads.... if ya want to use em all, hey Go For it Girl If not, that is ok too.
Now,
"In Jesus Name"
Well....
John 14:13 (KJV)
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
Beautiful eh?
John14:13 (same passage, easier to read)
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
It is also said in scripture that God knows our heart, our needs, and our pain even without words, so How you choose to pray is totally between you and God and building that relationship. He is just happy to hear from ya!
Keep on keepin on sis, one day at a time!
Peace n Love in Christ,
Lani

Hello Rachael
Not sure there is a right or wrong way to pray. Just talk to God.
Here's a link that might help you out....

Hello Rachael5,
first let me welcome you here!
as for the praying I think Pine is right there is no wrong way other than fake or not from the heart, If you pray to God as if you where talking to anyone else and allow your words to come from the heart.
I Also had gotten a piece of advice that allowed me to release myself in prayer, Do not hide your anger with God because in doing so you ARE being fake or false to Him and He does NOT want that He wants honesty and from the heart, I use to feel SO guilty when I felt this way but I would hide it from Him (or so I thought) but I just feel so much better being open and honest with Him weather it's good or bad, BUT please know I spend my time asking for His forgiveness now instead of hiding it and not addressing it, and I know of a few that personalize it by refereing to our Lord as Dad, it just makes it more personal for them (I too have used that term at points and times)
God bless you and again welcome to Oasis
