The World- The Church
It came to my attention after speaking to different people, listening to all the news on tv, the newspapers, of how we can not believe the shape the world is in, how murder, rape, the slaughter of unborn babies grows every day, how young children are using drugs, how children are taken never to be seen again or if they are found, we shudder to think of what they have been through! The World........full od terrible things, full of sin.
The church...what are we doing about it? I am as guilty as the next, I get angry when I see on the news about mothers killing their children in the most horrible ways, how i see an innocent child being abused by parents....yet we sit back and say.." I am praying " that is all well and good. I remember parents NOT sparing the rod " Daddy never spared it with my brothers and me and we all think our Daddy is the best! We are reprasentives of Christ! Jesus went out into the world and help those in need ! The church needs to get out into the world and get our hands dirty, while shopping in wal-mart..tell someone Jesus loves you, while stopped at a stop light smile at someone, you may very well make their day with a smile, tell your children you love them everyday, go to nursing homes and read to the elderly, sing them a song, while in church, hold a young mothers baby so she can kneel down to pray, help someone load groceries into their car....get out and let the light of Jesus shine , shine, shine! I am not getting on my soapbox, for I too need to do all these things, most of all be a light to the young people, for they are the future of the church, I felt I needed to say these things, Jesus is coming and we need to be ready and going and sitting in church two or three times a week isn't all He wants from us, I desire to cast my seeds in fertial ground and not into thrones. Jesus loves us, let us show our Love for Him, by ministering to others in His name.
In Christ,
Christdaughter

Amen Christdaughter!!!
By unction of the Holy Spirit, speak it. We hear, we plant that seed and nurture it and watch it grow.
Thoughts are either good seed or bad seed. Plant those good seeds.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Woooooohooooooo!
You go, girl.
God bless you, Christdaughter,
Sister Mack
