day 4 - The Path

Postby beautifulmess » Fri Sep 24, 2010 6:11 pm

Ok this step is very hard for me to do. I understand how and why to forgive myself, DOING it is harder. I try often to let go of my failures but end up picking them up again. I tell myself: let Go and ALLOW God...

Looking at the measure of my forgiveness through the measure of forgiveness I give others is difficult to allow myself. I tend to forgive easily and rarely hold issues against another. I try to understand and accept that I have not been assigned judge over anyone else.

I am having trouble with the peripheral damage that I caused in regards to my situation. Others have been hurt. Others are paying a price. I do not know how or whether to reach out to them. I need to have God make clear to me that path of direction. I am not asking forgiveness of them, but extending sorrow for my wrong doings.

I will need this path to be made VERY clear as I do not want to do any more harm.

*Cross* Hi...yes, we are on the same path. and yes...forgiveness of myself is very hard. I will pray for you as I take my steps in my path. I hope you will do also. Each day I feel better and I feel God's love more and more. I hope you do also. Hang in there and I will pray God guides you along your way.

hi beautifulness, nice to meet you.
Someone once told me something that made alot of sense. They said to lay your problems at the foot of the cross for Jesus, give them to Jesus, but don't pick them back up again because that would be stealing from Jesus.
Interesting, huh?
I find that most will pick things back up because they don't believe they are forgiven. That takes faith and trust but it is something that is possible.
Praying for strength and understanding for you.

Hi beautiful :) Forgiving ourselves and others pleases our Father. He loves to see us follow in His footsteps...and He surely loves to forgive. Keep working on this.

Praying for you.

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
