Wow! Stepping stone number three really hit me where I live.

I am questioning God about why he would keep my wife in a job with her "crush" thereby making us both miserable and why God would allow my marriage to fail, if that is what will happen. But, deep inside, I have to remember that God's Ways are a mystery and that IF I trust and believe, my marriage won't fail but come out stronger OR it will fail because it is his will to allow it for his reasons.

I have to accept whatever happens. I have accept his grace to get through it and rest in him. This is VERY hard for me to do.

Thanks for all the kind words. I am taking them to heart. I was able to get through last evening without pushing my wife or making comments that she would consider "selfish" on my part.

She has a decision to make today: Does she just leave the job now or go back and work her final two days based on a two-week's notice she handed in previously, or allow herself to be talked into staying by her manager. We went through the pros and cons of each decision and I didn't push for her never to go back even when she seemed to be leaning that way. Thanks be to God that I didn't so anything to "irritate" or push her away last evening.

Sounds to me like you allowed God to do the leading last night. He is proud of you. That's a step forward for sure.

God's grace, isn't it beautiful? He gives to us so freely and He doesn't ask anything in return but our love and our belief in Him. How blessed we are for sure to have such a loving and faithful God. Believing and trusting in Him and His plans will give you a sense of peace...and comfort as well. Keep working on handing everything over to Him.

Take care and God Bless
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Remember God allows us each to choose. Just because she chooses to stay doesn't mean it's in His will. He loves each of us enough to let us live our lives the way we choose. Instead of forcing His way on us.

Keep praying. Prayer really does change things. God loves you. He really does.
