The Spirtual Dynamics of our Inward Man
Hello All,
Blessings!
Good morning seekers after that which can be spiritual in the man or woman of St. Louis, all.
Inward man? Do we understand that we are to have a witness within that our Lord has given us of His Spirit? In a previous article we discussed our inward man, spirit, made in the likeness and image of God, and as such, is fire within. We discussed the nature of our spirit of being of power, love, and a sound mind. We said the supernatural tendency of our spirit is toward a view of those qualities of the Kingdom of Heaven above where there is always love, joy, peace, kindness, meekness, etc. We said the supernatural tendency of our spirit is to grow these same qualities within us. In another article we said that such is achieved through abiding in Christ, in His love, and in His truth. Today we will discuss the voice of our inward man.
What a great comfort it is when we come to know the voice of that spirit God has given us of Himself within! Such may take many years in the life of a believer to know and understand. But is well worth the time spent loving the Lord our God Almighty Lord of Lords King of Kings Lord of Hosts Almighty Love Dad with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength, until we have become broken enough to become spiritual. We may have suffered much, many different kinds of temptations, trials, and testings! But if we continue loving God no matter what, there comes a day when Christ is completely formed in us and we come to know Him as that spirit He has given us within.
It may happen like this. We are sitting meditating upon the word and work of our Lord when suddenly we find another presence within us, a presence we have long sought to know. As in studying the Word of God many things have remained unclear. We have asked ourselves often, how is it I come to know the voice of my own spirit? We see in scripture that the Apostle Paul has much to say about the little (s) spirit, our spirit Christ has given us, but we can't seem to find him or get to know him. We wonder if he is asleep or if we have grieved him? Such may be true, but most likely it is because we are yet carnal, and not ready to understand what it really means to be born of God.
But the day has come, the day star has arisen in our hearts, and we begin to get to know him. We find him to be love, and power, and soundness of mind. We find him submissive to our will, able to look into the Spirit of God, receive of Him, and show us things. We find him mighty, able to defend against the assault of the enemy. We find him comforting, always loving and happy going about the business of the work of our Lord. He is always awake, ever present in love to talk with us, be one with us, keep us clean, help and guide us. He is truly the amazing grace of our Lord Jesus Christ Lord of Lords King of Kings Almighty God Love Dad alive and at work within us!
He is Christ within, our hope of glory!
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
