feeling down

Postby Guest » Sun Jun 06, 2010 9:53 pm

Last Thursday I seen something that I wish I would have never seen. I was on my way home and I witnessed a women hit a guy with her car. She was trying to pull out of a parking lot and the guy was standing in the middle of the road waiting to cross. The women pulled out and hit the dude and I saw him get slammed into the windshield and throne in the air then land on the street. I stoped my car and blocked traffic from hitting him again and thats all I knew of what to do. Four other people were calling 911 but nobody was really trying to help him. I didn't know what to do so I helped direct traffic tell the police arrived. I felt so helpless. I prayed for the man right there at the scene but he ended up dieing two hours latter from head injuries. I have never seen anything like that before and it still bothers me. Then came this weekend. It was nothing but anger all around me. My wife was upset because of the hours she has to work and because she had to work Saturday then today we went to the laundry matt and I got acused of stealing cloths from the drier that someone had left unattended. Then we get home and my sister is over and fighting with my mom and my stepdad. (the wife and I rent an apartment upstairs from them). Plus my sister was fighting with one of her friends and having some other problems. THe best part of the day was when my sister and I went out fishing and God cleared the sky and set us up in a good spot to fish. We were reeling them in one after another.

I have been going to the same church for a while now and I still don't feel much of a connection with the people there. I have met a couple of folks but I still am not meeting anyone to hang out with or do bible study with. I have been working the A.A. program and I even have an A.A. sponsor but something just doesn't feel right there either. I understand that there will be down days from time to time, I just hate it when they come around. It can be really depressing at times.

All in all I am still hanging in there. I am still pressing on and fighting. God is still good and I know that He still loves me.

Peace and love
God bless

Bluebird...prayers are with you and your family...we are in a constant battle to hang on to our joy...we have to keep on keeping on...we have to push through...the enemy is looking to devour anything he can and that includes marriages, families and friendships...because together...he can't beat us...as the Spirit within is strong...but one by one...he can take us down if we allow him too...and that means making us take our eyes off of Jesus...and placing them on all the things going on around us...place your eyes back on the "Son"shine.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

awwww bluebird *hug5* my heart goes out to ya... sounds like alot of stuff outside of your control really got ya down. The enemy creeps in sometimes and before we know it, we feel like we have lost that connection.. but it is still there. I like wat mlg said about putting ur eyes back on the "Son"shine.. i tend to experience God's majesty in nature, so u saying God letting the sun shine and a good fishing spot I think was God just letting ya know He is still there for ya. Keep fighting the good fight.. yep those bad days can get us... but Jesus is the cure! *hug5* cuz well i feel like maybe u need a couple of em... will *Pray* for ya... and i just wanna say i think its awesome that you see that God still loves ya cuz He really does.

hi brother bluebird

when it comes to family matters..i know it can be very difficult.

this one of the enemy strategy to bring us down and he will make that everything around seems out of control..it can be overwhelmed...and all other negative emotions will arise easily.

for me..being close to the nature help me be close with the Creator. those blessing we may took for granted..since we were clouded with the probs.

listening to His songs is another gud way to refocus and refreshed our mind.

keep trusting..its so worth it.

there is a rainbow after the storm.
walk the Faith..

walk the Love..
