Step 10
when I first saw what the subject of step 10 was I though well I understand prayer and am doing fine with it. so i proablely want find alot in this subject. But I was wrong.
The who, what, why, and when I get it. what caught me was "God always answers with yes, no, and not now."
I get the yes, and the no but..... the "not now" is where i find my self getting into trouble.
I am kind of like Peter at times: I plow in, jump in, speak first and so on.
After the fact I ask "what did I miss?"
I have a tendance of only hearing the "now" instead of hear not...now.
As for my prayer life. The Holy Spirit is a constant in my every day life.
I talk with him as if he is always standing beside me. If an arrow has just been shot at me weather from a family member and friend or bill collector: My first respondence is:" DID YOU SEE THAT!" It is not that I am waiting on his respond because most times I am too busy gwaning on the arrow that just struck me. But I am working on listen in stead of reacting.
on
I have just add another tool in my tool shed. Being aware of things is half the battle. so i am going to listen closer to the not.....now enstead of the now!
I am so encouraged by what I am learning in this course. More than I thought i would.
love all of you

This is fantastic sandra...and yes many times God answers with not now...and it's not because He doesn't want to give us what we ask...but that He has a greater plan in store for us...and it takes time to put all the pieces together
Keep working through the steps.
luv ya

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Heya Sandra
I too, have a really hard time with the "not now"...its so tough to wait
but, during the waiting..He is preparing you for what He wants to do next. If we take off for it now...we arent ready...and havent let Him grow us enough to be ready for it. Patience, sis....rest and be still, waiting and praising and growing where He has you in the now. He'll lead ya when He knows you are ready for the next part of His plan.
love you, girl.
in Jesus,
love momo
