My mama had a wonderful time. She got to see her son and my brother and h
him have made a bond together. mama got to see grandchildren and great grandchilren that she had not see in years. Her health has held up very well through all the excitment.
My brother mike the one she has not seen has MS. but he stuck to mama like clue. Even when it was time to go to bed he said he was going to sleep on the floor between me and mama. Which of course I would not let him. I gave him my bed and I slept on the couch right out side her bed> I could still see her or hear her if she needed me.

She had a few accidents and he would follower her right up to the door of the bathroom asking are you ok mom? And he sent in a Tshirt for her one time and told her that this Tshirt was the one he wore with the K-9 force it's really warm and she could have it.

there was another time that they were sitting on the couch together drinking coffee and her granddaughter was sitting on the opposite chair I had gone to fix them something to eat. Mike can not walk without help or cruches or a wheel chair. So I took care of both of them.
I heard my niece Alex yell and I ran in there mama had spilled her coffee on her leg and had burnt her self real good. Mike could not get up to help her and he was still trying to get up off the couch when i got in there Alex was trying to get her to the bathroom to get the pants off her. So it end up with about 6 of us in the bathroom with mama trying to see how bad she was burnt. And Mike at the door mom I got this cream here it's for dry skin but this a work and we would tell him we have got burn creams a sprays and he come up with something else. And from the door way he would call mom you ok , I am right here, you need me to come in there.
For two days he never left her side. He kept a hand or an arm around her. He doted on her pulling her cover up around her patting her and showing her total attention. It has been my mama' biggest hurt and regret about mike. She tryed for years and years to explain why she let my grandmother adopt him. she cryed many many tears over mike.
God has grated my mama's greatest need. Her children around her to love her and she love them.
Mike called me when he got home last night and said he was going to move here to Henderson with us. He said I hope I let her know how much I love her. How much I have exscepted her as my mom. She is my mom and i want to be there for her the rest of her life. So that she will know I always loved her. I was just young and confused. He asked me to find him a place here. A house with a fence he still has 5 greman shepherds all retired police dogs that he used before he got sick. that is going to be really hard to find a house for rent that will allow that many pets and that big of dogs. So pray we can do this for him.
My kids are going to go to Az. to pack him up and bring him here. As I said he as MS and can't do alot for himself anymore. But he wants to be here to help mama all he can.
I truly would let him stay with me and his dogs, but I do not know how much longer I am going to be able to hold onto my place. I do not own the land and the man is already up set as some of you know.
I need to make this happen for my mama. and if God is willing he will provide the way.
