Day 5 - I am selfish and I'm sorry

Postby Vkmama » Wed Apr 28, 2010 7:10 am

I'm sorry, I did fall into temptation. I did have an 'excuse', it was used to tempt me and the Devil KNEW about it. I'm sorry I hurt another. Lust led to lies and led to where I'm at now. No matter what excuses I used, the jist of it is I fell to temptation, committed adultery, divorced a man (albeit, a horrendous marriage). There is not other excuses, and I am sorry that I can't take it all back. I don't know what to do now. I live with a man and I know I am an adulteror. I have to believe God will forgive me. I have to believe Jesus understands.

The only thing I ask, please pray for me that the Holy Spirit will guide me to either marry this man or that God will provide a means for me to live on my own. Please pray for me that I can get back with God the way that pleased him before all this started. Thank you.

Vkmama...God hears your cries and He forgives through the blood of Jesus...time to take a step sis...to make things right in the eyes of the Lord. Sometimes taking the right step can be scary because we doubt and are unsure...but if we are walking on the path of peace we know we are following God's will. So just know that no matter what...Peace is the Right way.

Praying for you VKmama...all is gonna be ok...if you make the choice...God will be with you.

Yes, make sure you ask God for guidance... and listen for an answer. You don't want to marry this man just for comfort if that is not God's plan.

we love you vkmama
and we are glad you are here

Sis....Dont ya know His grace is suficient for you? If you have asked Him for forgiveness...its done. Now, get back up, dust off and move forward...this time, seeking His will for you..as you are doing.

We are all born selfish, sis. We have all sinned. We have all comitted adultery in one way or another to our God. He does understand. As parents, when our child makes a mistake...we forgive them when they ask us to. We also want them to learn from their mistakes..and grow from them....how much more does your Heavenly Father..who created you and knew every step you were going to take before the foundation of the world..how much more does He love you....and forgive you.

Time to move forward from this..and pray and seek His will in this relationship with this man. Before you do that, though, let Him heal you and do the work He wants to do so that you will be better equipped to see and hear what His will is.

He loves you, sis...so much more than you know.

praying for you and for His will to be done in all things.

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*
