Thank you all for the kind words, prayers and encouragement.

I start Arimidex on 3-15-2010. It's an aromatase inhibitor. It can have some horrendous side effects----praying it will not.

Love & hugs in Jesus our Lord----------

God bless you this day.

You continue in my prayers. God's blessed will be done.

Yes, sometimes the very drugs and treatments prescribed to us, have difficult side effects. If you experience nausea, remember that ginger is good in helping with it. Ginger tea, ginger ale, ginger cookies, etc.

Please continue to visit us and give us updates.

God bless and keep you.

Hello, everyone:

Thank you all for your prayers and words of encouragement.

I'm in the process of getting well from a bad upper respiratory tract infection. Our Lord took excellent care of me at my nearby County Regional hospital ER when I was advised by two nurses to go there.

I received a call yesterday from someone at my County Regional hospital.

Problem: My Dilantin (phenytoin) level is very low. I have an appointment to see my neurologist on 3-2-10. She is a Bhuddist; I pray I would "plant seeds" in her heart for our Lord at my appointment. She has been my neurologist for 42 years!

A good friend from church is driving me the 170-mile roundtrip to her office.

Take excellent care, everyone!

Love & hugs in Jesus------------

Hello ((( everyone ))):

I have changed Neurologists. I'm now seeing one much, much closer to where I live.

After 42 consecutive years of being seizure-free, I have had 6 seizures in one night recently!

My new Neurologist wants an MRI done of my brain, with & without contrast. Since I'm claustrophobic, I will be under General Anesthesia, praise God!

There is a strong family history of brain tumors---my Mom & great-grandmother both had brain tumors.

Also, despite my Dilantin (phenytoin) being increased, my levels are too low. This fact alone can cause me to have seizures.

The new Neuro has to report my seizures to the DMV. He said he will stress in his report that I did not lose consciousness. The DMV may revoke my driver's license, or they may not.

I'd appreciate your prayers!!!!!

In Christ----------

Thanks for the update, Pamela!

May our Lord be with you, comfort you and bring you peace. I pray that His will for your healing be done, and that you can rest in His peace.

Happy Easter, friend!

Hello, and hugs to everyone:

Thank you all for your prayers, and kind and encouraging comments on posts.

I received wonderful news the other day: The CT scan of the chest area shows: no sign of metastatic disease, no sign of lung involvement, and no sign of deep infection in the open wound! Praise God!

Next I'm having a brain MRI on 5-13-10---will be under general anesthesia because I'm claustrophobic. I'll get the brain MRI results on 5-24-10.

If my brain MRI is clear----then I will be declared by my Oncologist to be in REMISSION!

I'd appreciate prayer, please.

PAMELA
