i have made it to day 4 and i really need this step today. i am having a hard time today. this step really hit home and made me think about things. i htought i had forgiven everyone who had sinned against me but i forgot to forgive myself. I often pray for forgivness but never really thought about the level of forgivness that i was giving. I had help on to the hurt and inturn i think it has hurt my present relationship. Even though i have no idea wha tis going on with this relationship i am still holding on the faith that we will be ok and i have totally forgiven my past offenders and am letting go and letting God work in me

Yep steph, often we do forgive others easier than we forgive ourself. We tend to beat ourselves up over and over again...but that is not what Jesus wants us to do...He instead wants us to repent to Him...let our sins be washed away...and to get up and move forward...not holding anything more against ourselves...

It's good to see you getting up and letting Him dust you off...you are doing so good with the steps too.

Keep on fighting the good fight...healing is coming. I see it peaking around the bend :)

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

steph *hug*

I can tell you from my own personal experience and from observing others doing this program... that the forgiveness step is quite possibly the one that feels most difficult.

But letting go of our past is a process and forgiveness is crucial to that. So you ask God to give you strength to do what you must do, to be free of those things that haunt you and keep you tied to the past. If you do your part, coming to God with a willing and sincere heart to do His Will above your own, God will do His in making what seems impossible... Possible.

Be encouraged sister *hug5* One step at a time
