step 7
seven is the number of completion. well i would say its no coincidence that we are to renew our minds as the seventh step. we are to end the seeding of doubt and change what we allow into our minds and hearts. we are told to guard our hearts. u can tell what has gotten in and taken root because it comes out sooner or later. but the heart is desprately wicked, only GOD knows are hearts and true intentions. if we allow HIM to show us ourselves and are yielded to the HOLY SPIRIT changing us to the image of JESUS, we would see those areas of darkness and expose them to the LIGHT.
HE is so gracious!!!

amen sis..taking all thoughts captive....
there is so much in that verse...taking all thoughts captive, casting down imanginations....
if we take those lies from the enemy, cast them down, before they take root and grow, we are casting down the imaginations..the lies and all the things that come with them before they have time to grow into other areas of our lives...in the way we love, in the way we see our brothers and sisters...in the way God sees us. We serve an awesome God, sis. you are doing an awesome job in these steps. Keep goin..He's not finished yet!
love you,
in Jesus,
momo

Halfway through the steps.
Renewing the mind helps keep the heart fresh and full of love for Jesus...it helps keep the bad things out and the good things in. I've found that renewing my mind is what makes my day go smoother. When I catch a thought and bring it under the power of the Spirit...then I can better control my reactions and emotions to others. Oh how awesome is the Lord!
You are doing so well huelsing...I have enjoyed watching you in this journey...now off to the next half of the steps.
luv ya

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

So good.
Another way of changing is to change our words. Instead of saying "I am..." say "I used to..." makes a difference in changing attitude.
It's amazing.

It is better to light a candle then curse the darkness
No fear... just freedom
